Despite a storm blowing outside, we had a wonderful time with Sunderland Symphony Orchestra on Saturday. We are looking forward to their festive concert on 5th December and will let everyone know when tickets become available.
Thank you to everyone who braved the storm last night to support our Autumn Concert in tribute to the late Alan Price. It was lovely to perform a selection of pieces inspired by his musical career and especially to an appreciative audience including his family, friends and colleagues, as well as our SSO Honorary Patron, the Right Worshipful Mayor of the City of Sunderland and guests. As Alan was so dedicated to encouraging the next generation of musicians, all of the generous donations from the concert, will be greatly received by Sunderland Youth and Community Orchestra.
Thank you as always to the volunteers of St Gabriel's Church Sunderland and all of the people who work behind the scenes to help facilitate our concerts. Sunderland Music City Sunderland, UK
We hope to see you all again at our Christmas Concert Saturday 5th December 4pm 🍂 🎵
