🌞 Another fantastic day at SISTERS Project! 🌞

Despite school holidays and a few members being unwell, we still had a productive and enjoyable session together today.

After catching up over coffee and refreshments, sharing support, understanding, plenty of laughter, and meaningful conversations, we headed outside to make the most of the sunshine and tackle the toddler garden.

We're delighted to say that, with one final push and a lot of teamwork, the painting is now complete! 🎨👏

A huge thank you to Ashbrooke Tree Services for kindly donating and delivering a huge pile of bark chippings, which our group worked hard to spread throughout the garden. 🌳

There are just a few finishing touches left, and then the toddlers will be able to enjoy this safe outdoor space to learn, explore, and play. We can't wait to see their smiling faces! 💚

We rounded off the session with a well-earned lunch together, enjoying sandwiches and good company.

If you feel you would benefit from attending the SISTERS Project, we'd love to hear from you. 📞 Michelle: 07443 178339

Thank you again to John at Ashbrooke Tree Services & for not only providing the chippings but also delivering it 🌳to Grindon Church Community Project CIO

It’s a fantastic opportunity to have access to all these wonderful organisations at the same time whether you’re in need of help or want to get involved and give something back!

Additionally, we will also be offering donated toiletries and clothing on the day alongside free refreshments to support the well-being of our community who are facing challenges. 👚👖🧴

It would be great to have as many people there as possible whether you're able to just pop by for a coffee and find out a little more about the great services available and work being done within the city.

We hope the event makes a difference to the lives of local residents by providing the essentials and helping to connect them with trusted partners.

Any donations of clothing, non-perishable food or toiletries are welcome and can be dropped off at The Beam, Sunderland (next door to City Hall) If you're able to share event information with anyone who it would benefit, it would be appreciated. 💙
