We don't want the Easter fun to end on Easter weekend, so we have decided to put our Easter Trail on halfway through the holidays!

We can't wait to welcome you and your little ones along to the Walled Garden for this free mini trail. Spot the eggs, find the letters and figure out the word to win a prize.

Refreshments will be available (on a cash only basis) and there will be some arts and crafts too. As this is an outdoor event, we need to keep the weather in mind. Who knows if we will need suncream or raincoats, so please be prepared!

We just wanted thank everyone who came along to our Christmas Trail over the last two Saturdays. It was amazing seeing all of the happy faces, lovely colourings and hearing what people are doing for Christmas.

Big thanks also to our volunteers who spent time planning the trail, putting up the decorations and signs, and dressing up as elves for a few days.

We hope everyone who came along enjoyed it as much as we all did. We didn’t get many photos but feel free to share any photos you might have taken below.

Tomorrow sees the return of our elves for the final mini trail of the year. Bring along your little ones to our free mini trail - spot the snowmen and find the letters to win a prize!

We are serving tea, coffee, soft drinks, hot chocolate and mince pies on a cash only basis. There is also the chance to do some Christmas colouring and write a letter to Santa.

We hope to see you Saturday 13th December at the Park Office between 10am and 1pm for more festive fun ☃️

Our little visitors all had a brilliant day on Saturday at the FREE mini Christmas trail ❤️. How lovely it was to see the smiles on their faces! Huge thanks to everyone that could make it.

After they recieved their prize they wrote a letter to Santa, did some colouring and enjoyed a hot chocolate - complete with cream and marshmallows of course 😋

Don't worry if you couldn't make it, it's on again on Saturday. Just call to the park office (just by the White Cottage) and pick up a trail sheet.

Make sure to bring some cash so you can purchase your hot chocolate/tea/coffee/fruit shoot and mince pies! Unfortunately we can't take card payments just yet.

You will find our elves on duty between 10am and 1pm, Saturday 13th December- see you then!

It has come to our attention that there has recently been a fire set in the park. Whilst we don't know whether this was to cause damage, or just to huddle round and keep warm, we want to remind everyone of the dangers of this.

It might be that the plan is for a small fire but these can easily can get out of hand, causing damage to the trees, plants and even wildlife around the park. And, of course, there is the risk to people as well.

We want people to enjoy using the space, but we would love it to be done safely, and without risk to others, the wildlife or the area around us.

If you come across a fire in the park, please do not attempt to put the fire out (and yourself at risk) instead call 999 for the fire service.
