We're heading into the final weekend of already ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Until this Sunday, events, activities and conversations celebrating action for climate and nature are taking place in every corner of the UK. So far, we expect 1.6 million people to have taken part across more than 10,000 events ๐ŸŽ‰

But one of the things that makes Great Big Green Week so special - more than half of those attending say they rarely or never come to climate or nature events. Great Big Green Week is reaching new people in new places because communities are finding fun and creative ways to come ๐Ÿ’š

Craft and play days, music workshops, green roof building, town fรชtes, snorkel safaris, film screenings, river dipping - there's something for everyone!

Puppets roaming city streets handing out dandelions. Snorkel safaris off the Cornish coast. Belfast City Hall lit up green. A church in Cardiff throwing open its doors for a plant swap and homemade cake. ๐ŸŒฟ

We're at the midway point of Great Big Green Week - and communities across the UK have been coming Together for Good in the most wonderful ways.

By the end of the week, 1.6 million people are expected to have taken part across more than 10,000 events. More than half of those attending say they rarely or never come to climate or nature events. This is a week reaching more people than ever.

It's day 4 of and we've been speaking to event organisers and participants across the UK, asking them how it feels to take action with their local community as part of a national movement ๐Ÿซถ

Their words remind us of the powerful idea at the core of - when thousands of people take those small actions in towns, villages and cities across the UK, something extraordinary happens. Individual efforts join together to create a wave of collective action for climate and nature.

That's the magic of Great Big Green Week: one action, multiplied thousands of times, creates true hope and change ๐Ÿ’š
