Over the next 6 months, WHAF will facilitate a series of learning groups on topics designed to explore Zakat´s justice mandate within different themes, including: Women´s empowerment; sustainable giving; faith and community building; environmental justice; aid reform and the role of secular actors, and; technology.
Building on research conducted in 2025 and feedback received since, these topics are meant to probe critically into the international administration of Zakat and provide a space to imagine what re-centering justice might mean.
🗓️The two hour sessions are intended for individuals working in Zakat administration, academics from related fields, justice advocates and those keen to actively participate and contribute. To ensure a highly interactive space, numbers will be limited, so we urge you to register as soon as possible to secure a space. On this occasion, the series will be held in English.
