This Friday, the Sheffield Recovery Walk will be leaving from Project 6 (24 Cumberland Street) and finishing at Hillsborough Park, where there will be food and stalls 🙌

As always, the walk is a brilliant chance to come together and celebrate the amazing recovery community! There's no pressure to do the whole walk, with the different timings for key destinations set out below 👇

If you will be taking part, make sure you've got something purple to wear and to tag us in any photos you take from the walk that you'd be happy for us to share 🟣📸

Come join us for our annual recovery walk, it's open to everyone, whether your working towards recovery or been in recovery for many years.
10- 10.30 meet at Project 6 Cumberland Street
11-11.30: Stop at the steps of the town hall
12 - 12.30: Stop at Likewise for a break, before heading to Hillsborough Park
1.30: Arrive at Hillsborough Park for food and stall

Feel free to join us along the way at any of the stops.

Next week our attention turns to the Recovery Walk in Sheffield — a day many of us look forward to each year.

It’s always powerful to see who attends, to reconnect, and to meet new faces. The walk is a chance to share experiences, celebrate recovery, and stand together as part of Recovery Month.

I hope to see many of you there on the 25th at 09:30am— let’s show up strong and make recovery visible across Sheffield. 💜💜💜

Tomorrow is the Recovery Month 'Remembering and Hoping' Memorial Service at Sheffield Cathedral ⛪

The service, which is open to everybody, will be a chance to join together in remembering those who have died as a result of addiction, as well as celebrating the strength of recovery 💜

There will also be music from the incredibly talented Sheffield Cathedral Choir and special guest appearance from the Choir with No Name 🎶
