The true impact of the Dads & Lads Residential is best captured through the voices of the fathers who took part.

During the residential, families stepped away from daily routines to spend quality time together, strengthen relationships, and create lasting memories. In our follow-up interviews, fathers spoke about the value of dedicated time with their children, building stronger connections, and the positive impact the experience had on their family relationships.

These conversations remind us that sometimes the most meaningful outcomes come from creating space for families to connect, reflect, and grow together.

Thank you to all the fathers and children who made the residential such a memorable experience.

We’ve been awarded a 4-year Connect 2 Work contract with Sheffield City Council, delivering Individual Placement and Support (IPS) services across Sheffield.

Running from March 2026 to March 2030, this programme will support targeted communities into sustained employment through intensive, person-centred support.

This is a major step forward for us at Infinite Skills CiC.

Until now, much of our work has been delivered through short-term contracts — limiting long-term planning and investment. This multi-year award enables us to:

- Deliver consistent, long-term support in our communities
- Invest in our team, systems, and partnerships
- Scale what we know works at a grassroots level

Alongside this, our Pathways 2 Work programme will also be extended for another year, reflecting the strength of our hyper-local delivery and outcomes.

This milestone is built on:
- Trusted delivery in local communities
- Strong partnerships across VCSE and statutory sectors
- A team committed to delivering real, measurable change

We’re proud — but more importantly, we’re focused.

The next 4 years are about impact, scale, and delivering on that trust.

If you’re an employer or partner looking to work with us, we’d love to connect.

Over the past few months, we have been delivering the Pathways to Confidence & Wellbeing programme as part of the NHS Health & Growth Accelerator initiative.

The programme has supported adults and young people across Sheffield through community-led wellbeing activities designed to reduce stress, build confidence, and strengthen social connection.

Participants have taken part in a range of activities including:

🌿 Nature walks and outdoor wellbeing sessions in local green spaces and the Peak District
🎨 Creative health workshops, including painting and art-based expression
🤝 Peer support and reflective group discussions

These sessions created opportunities for participants to step away from daily pressures, reconnect with nature, and engage in creative activities within a welcoming and supportive environment.

It has been inspiring to see participants build confidence, form new connections, and develop healthier routines through simple but meaningful activities.

At Infinite Skills, we remain committed to delivering community-led initiatives that promote wellbeing, strengthen resilience, and support individuals on positive pathways towards work, learning, and community engagement.

Proud of the team at Infinite Skills for organising this event.

Great to see the impact of our Careers, Recruitment & Networking Event at Sheffield Town Hall.

Bringing together professionals, employers and communities to share experiences and open pathways into careers is exactly the kind of collaboration our city needs.

Thank you to Abtisam Mohamed MP, Kate Josephs CB, Helen Sims and Martin McKervey for contributing to such an important conversation.
