This is the baby who arrived yesterday, brought in by Toni and her family. I’m very pleased with his progress so far as he’s gained 10 grams since his arrival. He’s so tiny but isn’t he amazing. ❤️🦔❤️

So, the four babies who came in on the 23rd from Sevenairs Road area in Beighton are doing well and gaining weight steadily.
Since then three more babies arrived on the 26th from Fox Lane in S12 who are also gaining weight steadily.
Today a tiny 73 gram hoglet arrived from School Road area of Beighton found all alone with no mum around.
Please keep all these little ones in your thoughts. ❤️🦔❤️

Four babies brought in yesterday from Beighton after contractors cleared a garden. These babies should still be with their mum but unfortunately she was nowhere to be found. I’m just hoping she is safe somewhere. Smallest baby 101 grams. Thankfully they are eating well and making lots of mess just as babies do. Video to be added separately in comments.

The high temperatures are set to stay for a good few days so please help our beautiful wildlife by leaving out lots of shallow bowls of water

This is Baxter. He lives at the rescue as he’s blind and comes out during the day so cannot be released. He comes running when he hears me putting out food and climbs onto my shoe before having a good tasting session then carrying out self anointing.
Baxter hibernated over winter but other than his sight issues he’s healthy. ❤️🦔❤️

EXCEPTIONAL 5 STAR HOME NEEDED

I am in search of a fully enclosed garden with absolutely NO GAPS, NOT EVEN TINY ONES, for one but potentially two male hedgehogs who have sight in only one eye.
One of the hogs (Baxter) comes out of his house in the afternoon so unfortunately due to this he cannot be fully released back to the wild.
You must be willing to provide a rescue approved nesting house and be willing to feed every day, all year round.
No dogs unless hog friendly
No ponds unless inaccessible by a hog
No badgers

If anyone out there is able to provide what I’m looking for, please send a direct message to the page.
