We hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable weekend, but if you do need medical help over the Bank holiday weekend and it's not a life-threatening emergency remember to make sure that you choose the right NHS service for your needs.

Visit www.sth.nhs.uk/sheffield-urgent-care for all urgent care options.

Think Pharmacy First: For minor ailments like coughs, colds, or itchy eyes, many local pharmacies remain open. They can offer expert advice and even some prescriptions without a GP appointment.

Use NHS 111: If you’re unwell and unsure where to go, visit 111.nhs.uk or call 111. They are available 24/7 and can direct you to the best local service, including out-of-hours GPs or walk-in centres.

Use NHS 111 for urgent dental care: If you need urgent dental treatment over the Bank Holiday weekend use NHS 111.

Order Early: Remember to request any repeat prescriptions in good time so you don't run out.

Make sure you have a well-stocked medicine cabinet and first aid kit to treat very minor injuries or illnesses
