What’s it really like to live, work and carry out scientific research in Antarctica?

Join the GA Tyne & Wear affiliated Branch on Thursday 15 October, 4.30-6.00pm, for Cool Geography: Living and working in Antarctica. Matt Bell, Marine Biologist at Rothera Research Station, will join live from Antarctica to discuss Antarctic biodiversity, blue carbon, climate change, fieldwork and his journey into marine biology.

Support your students in achieving their best results with the GA’s Exam Success course, a series of six online sessions running throughout the academic year from October to July.

Led by Fiona Sheriff, the series will provide practical strategies and approaches to support teachers with effective exam preparation, developing students’ geographical knowledge, skills and exam technique.

The first session takes place on 20 October, with five further sessions running throughout the academic year.
