Are you a dad or male carer of a child or young person with SEND? We're looking for a friendly, compassionate volunteer to help support our monthly Dads Group.

This is a great opportunity to meet other dads, offer a listening ear, help sessions run smoothly, and enjoy a game of pool or snooker along the way.

The deadline to share a story for We Are Sheffield has been extended to 2nd June 2026.

As part of VAS 100, we’re collecting stories of social action from across the city, focused on people, moments and experiences that have made a difference.

That could be something you’ve been part of, or a story about someone in your community, a family member or a friend.

We’re also open to different formats, including writing, video, audio, photography or artwork.
