FUTURE LEADERS 2.0 ✨
As we close our second Future Leaders programme, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the journey, the growth and the brilliant young artists who have made it what it is.
Over the past 12 months, our five Future Leaders have:
→ delivered 2,000+ hours of creative activity
→ worked across 20+ schools and cultural institutions
→ performed on iconic stages and in venues including Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities, Royal Ballet and Opera and Southbank Centre
But it’s always been about more than the numbers.
We’ve had the absolute privilege of watching these artists grow in their artistry, confidence, mindset and leadership. We’ve watched them step into rooms, take up space, lead others, find their voices and begin to shape the kind of artists and leaders they want to become.
And that’s the bit we’re most proud of.
Future Leaders was never designed to be a one-year programme. It’s about building relationships, creating opportunities and investing in artists for the long term. We will always be here advocating for your work and cheering you on!
So, to **Kai, Amelie, Lana, Lauren and TJ** thank you for everything you’ve brought to Body Politic, to each other and to the young people you’ve worked with.
We’re incredibly proud of what you’ve achieved. And even more excited to see what comes next. 🚀
