Did you know you can use L'OR capsules without a machine, but it requires manual preparation. Because the coffee inside is finely ground for machine extraction, you will need to open the capsule and use a filter or strainer to brew it just like regular ground coffee. How to use L'OR capsules manually:Empty the capsule: Carefully peel off or cut the foil lid of the L'OR capsule and empty the grounds into a cup or a small bowl.Brew using a filter: Place the grounds into a paper coffee filter, cafetière (French press), or a pour-over cone set over your mug.Add hot water: Pour hot (not boiling) water slowly over the grounds and let it steep for a few minutes before removing the filter.Keep in mind:Yield: A single L'OR capsule only contains about 5-6 grams of coffee, so you will likely need 2 or 3 capsules to make a standard-sized mug of coffee.Taste: The resulting cup may taste slightly weaker or different than intended because the coffee is designed to be brewed under high pressure inside a machine.

Baby spinach is one of our main vegetables at this coming weeks larder.
Did you know that baby spinach are young, tender spinach leaves harvested just 15 to 35 days after planting. They are sweeter, softer, and milder than mature spinach, making them ideal for raw salads, sandwiches, and smoothies.
The leaves are bright green, spoon-shaped leaves with highly tender, edible stems. They are usually no longer than 10 cm. It is less bitter than mature, curly-leaf spinach.Preparation: Unlike mature spinach, baby spinach rarely needs chopping or tough stems removed, and cooks down very rapidly.
Baby spinach is a nutrient-dense superfood, low in calories but highly concentrated in vitamins and minerals. Per 100 grams, it contains roughly 23 calories and offers high amounts of:Vitamin K: Essential for bone health and blood circulation.Vitamin A: Supports eye health and immunity.Vitamin C: An antioxidant that aids in collagen production and immune function.Iron & Calcium: Provides these key minerals, though pairing them with a source of Vitamin C maximizes absorption.Best UsesRaw: Its tender texture makes it the perfect base for green salads or as a nutritious addition inside wraps and sandwiches.Cooked: Excellent for quick wilting. It works perfectly tossed into pastas, curries, or egg dishes, and shrinks significantly when heated.Blended: Great for adding bulk and nutrients to green smoothies without altering the flavor profile.
