As Trinity term comes to a close, so too does an incredible year of representing and advocating for students across the collegiate University 💙

From meetings and events to conversations that have shaped change, this final week reflects the SU Presidents’ dedication to ensuring student voices are heard.

Take a look at how your SU Presidents spent the last week of term ➡️

As Trinity term comes to a close, we’re taking a moment to reflect on what Oxford SU has done as the representative body for students this year 🔄

Working in partnership with the University, we’ve helped ensure student voices were part of the conversations shaping the Oxford experience. From representing students’ interests to enabling student-led projects and opportunities, we’ve been proud to play our part in helping you make the most of your time here.

There’s a lot to celebrate - from bringing students together through community events across the collegiate University, to helping drive positive change on issues raised by students throughout the year.

Thank you to everyone who engaged with us this year, and trusted us to represent you 💙

In this episode of the Oxford Student Voice Podcast, Shermar Pryce, SU President for Communities and Common Rooms, sits down with Sir Ernest Ryder, Master of Pembroke College and Chair of the Conference of Colleges.

Drawing on his distinguished legal career as a Lord Justice of Appeal and Senior President of Tribunals, Sir Ernest explains the “people first” philosophy behind his leadership.

The conversation demystifies Oxford governance, exploring how the 39 independent colleges collaborate with the central University. They also discuss the pressing topics facing the institution today, including student mental health, the sustainability of niche academic disciplines, and the maintenance of aging physical infrastructure.
