We are very pleased to share with you our latest impact report sharing stories, quotes, and numbers that illustrate our work last year. The Mint House has grown significantly in the past several years and we wanted to highlight and celebrate what we have been able to achieve with your support.

We are particularly proud of the breadth of our work: in the variety of sectors that we are working in, geographic reach, and in the creativity of different types of events, projects, and training we have been able to offer.

Thank you so much for supporting us in this work and for your involvement in The Mint House!

It was great to have storyteller and restorative justice facilitator Hannah Moore join us at the Oxford Trees of Life community art exhibition at New Road Baptist Church during Oxford Art Weeks.

She facilitated a storytelling session telling folk and fairy tales and a storytelling workshop on restorative themes such as exploring how storytelling can support community building, conflict resolution, and restorative justice.

We ended the day of stories and creativity with a concert featuring local artists.

In 2020 the Forestry Commission of New South Wales unlawfully felled six protected giant trees and three hollow-bearing trees – ancient and protected trees of huge ecological and cultural significance. Rather than relying solely on a fine the court adopted a restorative justice approach.

Join us to explore the use of restorative justice to address environmental harm. 🌱

We will be sharing highlights from the recently published Restorative Justice Approaches for Environmental Harm Practice Guide from the European Forum for Restorative Justice and looking at where and how Environmental Restorative Justice could be developed in the UK.

We will look at a case study, briefly present highlights from the practice guide and outreach guide, hear from an expert in environmental law on if and how these approaches might work, and discuss ‘what next?’ for this work in the UK.

🟢 Wednesday 3 June 2026
🟢 12-1pm (BST)
🟢 Online

Speakers will include:
⚪️ Prof Miranda Forsyth (Australian National University)
⚪️ Prof Ivo Aertsen (University of Leuven)
⚪️ Lawrence Kershen KC
⚪️ Prof Liz Fisher (University of Oxford)

This event is FREE (although donations to support our work are gratefully accepted) and will be held online on Zoom.
