Bosom Pals MK Breast Cancer Support Group meets three times monthly. Providing advice and support for those who have experienced cancer or been close to others who have.

Fundraising for group activities and liaising with the local hospital to improve patient care.

Bosom Pals MK traditionally marshalls the 1st mile of the Willen Hospice Midnight Moo. We are looking for volunteers to help be a marshall on the night.

MK Hospital Produces New Video Series Launched to Support Breast Cancer Patients

A brand-new series of six support videos has been launched at Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust to help breast cancer patients through every stage of their recovery journey.

The bite-sized videos have been created to provide clear, practical guidance that patients, families and carers can access whenever they need reassurance or advice following surgery.

Topics include:
💗 Breast surgery and recovery
💗 Bra fitting
💗 Going home with a surgical drain (JVAC)
💗 Going home with a PICO wound dressing
💗 End of post-surgery treatment
💗 Troubleshooting and support

Life doesn’t always return to 'normal' after hospital treatment for primary breast cancer. That’s why MKUH breast cancer nurses are working with Breast Cancer Now to bring you the Moving Forward Course to offer open, supportive conversations in a safe and confidential space

The course will take place in Milton Keynes on Monday 22nd & 29th June from 9:30am - 1pm supported by an expert facilitator, volunteers with lived experience and a live Q&A with a breast care nurse.
