The food will be distributed to the Larder every week by the Sofea charity. How does it worK? You will need to become a member to access the Larder this means filling in the form and setting up a direct debit online. Becoming a member is not m
eans tested. There are two types of membership, an individual , membership and a family membership. An individual membership:
-a one off joining fee of £10
-£3.50 per week (£14 per month direct debit)
-this entitles you to 10 items of food plus a selection of fruit and vegetables from those available on the day. A family membership:
-a one off joining fee of £10
-£7.00 per week (£28 per month direct debit)
-this entitles you to 20 items of food plus a selection of fruit and vegetables from those available on the day. A family can sign up for an individual membership if they think 10 items will be adequate for them. For £3.50 you have access to on average £12-15 of food each week. How do I sign up? Don't forget to select Newport Pagnell Community Larder as the Larder you wish to join. At this stage no money will be taken from your account until after your first two visits. Should you decide that it isn't for you, your membership can be cancelled within 14 days of your first visit. Our opening date is Wednesday 8th June, your membership will be on hold until we open. All larders offer different services, this depends, on the needs/skills of the local community. Hopefully as our membership grows, the members will come together with ideas on how the larder should progress and what services are needed to provide help and support to all in the community. Newport Pagnell Community Larder will be closed on Wednesday 26th October and Wednesday 28th December 2022
