She's only 14, but Princess is making her voice heard. 🎤

Princess, from Ghana, has big dreams of becoming a doctor. But growing up in a community where girls' voices were often unheard, she didn't always have the confidence to speak up. That changed when she joined a children's club supported by World Vision.

Through sessions on children's rights, leadership and wellbeing, Princess found her confidence and discovered the power of her voice.

She went on to become president of her children's club and later Clerk of the National Children's Parliament, advocating for girls' rights and helping protect others from teenage pregnancy. ✨

What happens when one girl shares what she’s learned?

Kimberly, 12, from Honduras, learned early that menstruation is normal. Her mother had little information about menstruation growing up and was teased when her body began to change. Girls in their community also struggled to manage their periods without clean water or proper toilets.

With World Vision’s support, the community now has clean water and good sanitation. Through our Charlemos programme, Kimberly learned about menstrual hygiene, body care and self-respect.

Today, she’s passing that knowledge on, helping other girls understand their bodies and feel confident asking questions. 🧡
