We’ve been very kindly donated a GIANT pumpkin and we thought it would be the perfect opportunity to have a bit of fun while raising some much-needed funds for MK SNAP!

For those who may not know us, MK SNAP is a local charity supporting adults with learning disabilities through education, life skills, work preparation and opportunities to develop confidence and independence.

Our learners are at the heart of everything we do, and fundraising helps us continue providing opportunities for them to learn new skills, reach their potential, build friendships and achieve greater independence. Every penny raised helps us make a positive difference to their lives.

We were delighted to welcome Biztech to our MK SNAP Café on Tuesday as part of MK Tech Week! 💻

It was fantastic to host the 'Digital Repair Café' and see technology being used to bring people together, build digital confidence, and make tech more accessible to everyone. From troubleshooting devices to sharing practical skills, the session highlighted the importance of digital inclusion and the positive impact technology can have in our community.

A huge thank you to Biztech and everyone involved for making it such a valuable and engaging event. We’re proud to have been part of an initiative that helps people feel more confident with technology while also supporting sustainability and reducing waste.

We were delighted to welcome Safer MK from Milton Keynes City Council and Thames Valley Police to MK SNAP to speak to our learners about hate crime and how to protect themselves.

As part of Hate Crime Awareness Week, our learners learned about the different types of hate crime, how to recognise them, and what steps to take if they experience or witness a hate crime.

A big thank you to Safer MK and Thames Valley Police for taking the time to visit us, share their knowledge, and help empower our learners to stay safe and know where to turn for support.

It was lovely to welcome four of our five London Marathon 2027 runners to MK SNAP last week for a coffee and a chance to get to know each other ahead of their exciting fundraising challenge! 🏃‍♀️💙

One runner sadly couldn’t make it, but we’re delighted to have the team coming together to support MK SNAP.

As it was James and Ryan's first visit to MK SNAP, They both had the opportunity to meet our learners and enjoy a tour of MK SNAP to see first-hand the difference their fundraising will make. It was a great chance to learn more about our work and the people they’ll be supporting.

We’re so grateful to all our runners for taking on this incredible challenge and helping us make a difference to our learners. We can’t wait to follow their journey as they prepare to take on 26.2 miles!
