Q: When is your next Top-Up Shop?

A: Our next Top-Up Shop is on Wednesday 9th September, and we'd love to see you there!

Need a helping hand with everyday essentials? Our Top-Up Shop is here to support families with children from newborn to 6 years old.

🛍️ For just £2, you can choose 10 items, with nappies and wet wipes available for £2 per child in nappies.

📍 Kings Community Centre, Wolverton
🕧 12:30pm to 2:00pm
📅 Wednesday 9th September

No referral is needed. Simply come along during opening hours.

Whether you need a little extra support this week or know someone who might, we're here to help.

Looking for affordable children's clothing? Come along to our warehouse sale and pick up good quality clothes and shoes while supporting local families.

📍 Baby Basics MK, Milton Keynes, MK11 1PE

Suggested donations:
👕 Clothing packs: £2
👟 Shoes: £1 per pair

Every item rehomed helps us reduce waste, raise vital funds, and continue providing essential support to families across Milton Keynes.

Please note that stock is limited and available on a first come, first served basis.

Cash is preferred, although we hope to have card payments available.

Volunteering takes many different forms. 🧶💙

When people think about volunteering with Baby Basics MK, they often picture our busy warehouse. But some of our incredible volunteers make a difference from the comfort of their own homes.

Our wonderful Sewing Network gives their time, talent and creativity to make beautiful handmade items that become part of the gift parcels we provide to families with children aged 0 to 6 facing financial hardship.

From tiny newborn cardigans and cosy blankets to hats for little ones, every stitch is made with kindness and care. These handmade gifts bring warmth, comfort and remind families that their community is thinking of them.

As part of our Sewing Network, you'll be invited to join our friendly WhatsApp community where volunteers share ideas, patterns, encouragement and celebrate each other's creations.

If you enjoy knitting or crocheting and would like to use your skills to support local families, we'd love to welcome you.

We currently accept:
🩵 Newborn cardigans (premature and newborn sizes in blue, pink or white)
🩵 Moses basket or buggy blankets (approximately 30" x 30" in blue, pink or white)
🩵 Hats from newborn up to 6 years old

We're back open and accepting referrals! 💙

From Tuesday 28 July, Baby Basics MK is back open and once again accepting referrals for families in need.

If you're a professional supporting a family, you can now submit referrals for:

👶 New Baby Referrals for expectant parents

🧸 Child Referrals for children aged 3 months to 6 years

During our summer opening period, please note:

📅 28 July to 20 August
• Our warehouse is open Tuesdays and Wednesdays only
• The online referral system is open throughout this period
• Referrals will be processed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays

We know that families don't stop needing support during the summer, and we're here to help where we can.

If you're working with a family who could benefit from essential items for their baby or young child, please complete the appropriate referral form via our website.

🔹 Warehouse open Tuesdays & Wednesdays only

🚨 We're urgently in need of cots! 🚨

We have completely run out of cots and have families waiting who need them.

If you have a cot that your little one has outgrown and you no longer need, we'd be so grateful if you could donate it to us.

Please drop it off this week during our opening hours.

Unfortunately, due to limited storage space, we're unable to accept cot beds, but we can still take standard cots.

Thank you so much for your continued support – every donation helps us provide a safe place for a baby to sleep. 💙

🎉 Come and see us at the Shenley Brook End Fete!

We'll be at the fete on Saturday 18th July from 1pm with an information stall, raising awareness about the support Baby Basics MK provides to families across Milton Keynes.

We'll also have a selection of our popular baby clothing packs available, so it's a great opportunity to find out more about what we do while picking up some fantastic items.

The fete promises a fun afternoon for the whole family, with a bouncy castle, hook-a-duck, football activities, face painting and even an ice cream van! 🍦🎨⚽
