Come and have a fun filled Friday evening with a difference.

Our 2026 Burlesque-a-thon is next Friday 23rd October 4.30-9.30pm. We are a very friendly and supportive group and welcome all ages and abilities to come and dance with us.

You can pop in at any point in the evening to give burlesque a go. No experience is needed we will teach all the dances on the night, you just need to turn up ready to move (and maybe bring a teddy/soft toy to dance to for the last song!)

We will be teaching 7 dances over 5 hours all donations to dance going directly to CLICK to help fund grants that support grassroots arts projects.

Refreshments will be on offer from The Lewis Foundation as well as free tasty treats provided by home cook Ashley Alymann in return for a donation we have already made to Mind.

Come for 1 dance or stay all evening everyone and every BODY welcome.

It's fabulous to see the results of this project by Launchpad that was developed and painted by their clients.

The project built confidence, self‐esteem and provided a sense of achievement. Developed teamwork, communication and decision‐making skills and allowed their clients to feel ownership and pride in their environment.

On 23rd October The Qweens will be hosting the 2026 Burlesque-a-thon to raise money for CLICK Arts Foundation. Which will include this dance to Uh-Oh!

From 4.30-9.30pm you can donate to dance or spectate, you can drop in at any point or dance the night away for the full 5 hours!

Our grants support grassroots arts projects.
The grants are for a maximum of £2000 which can have a massive impact on the communities that they support.

Our Burlesque-a-thon 2026 on 23rd October will have all sorts of delicious treats this year including Malaysian cake and curry puffs provided thanks to home cook Ashley Alymann founder of the amazing Wild Ginger Lily. 😋

These yummy treats will be available for FREE to all participants and a donation has been made to Ashleys chosen cause Mind.

It was amazing to see the lanterns we sponsored being paraded as part of the City of Lights Festival this weekend.

A fabulous project by from Milton Keynes Islamic Arts and Culture. A great example of celebration of heritage bringing the community together.

A great project that we have helped to support! The Lewis Foundation UK will be supporting our fundraising efforts in return by providing Tea, Coffee and Cakes for sale for their charity while we dance for 5 hours at the 2026 Burlesque-a-thon raising money for ours!
