Government Hate Crimes Statistics recorded by the police by monitored strand, year ending March 2025 to year ending March 2026, England and Wales.
10,140 recorded Disability Hate Crimes (down 5%)
11,149 recorded Faith Hate Crimes (up 13%)
107,926 recorded Race Hate Crimes (up 9%)
21,407 recorded Homophobic Hate Crimes (down 1%)
3,955 recorded Transphobic Hate Crimes (down 4%)
Total number of recorded hate crime offences 146,825 (up 7%)

NB: We need to be mindful that evidence shows that many hate crime are not reported or recorded, so we can assume the number of incidents/offences is higher than the figures reported.
