The findings in the Fonagy report are clear: children's distress is rising, and too many are missing out on support.

At Place2Be, we know early intervention works. That's why we're calling for earlier, timely mental health support embedded within school communities, before problems escalate.

Our evidence shows that targeted school-based support can improve children's mental health, learning, behaviour and engagement, with positive outcomes lasting beyond the intervention itself.

Place2Be and Young BAFTA travelled to Kent last week to visit The Brent Primary School, with talented hosts Kia Pegg, David Ribi and BAFTA's Young Games Designer alum and judge Joe Straker!

With unique insights into careers in film, television and games, students explored their creativity and discovered new possibilities for the future. 💛

This weekend a group of children from Place2Be partner school, , had the opportunity to experience London Fashion Week first hand, thanks to a special invitation from award-winning British designer .

The children had the incredible opportunity of being able to watch the runway show from the front row, and were then able to speak to Patrick afterwards about his inspiration and journey. The experience offered a unique insight into the world of fashion, design and self-expression.

As Patrick shared, “Creativity can be transformative for young people, helping them to see new possibilities for themselves and the world around them.”
