London Marathon Volunteer Call 📢

Hi everyone, we need of lots of volunteers to make sure we give our London Marathon 2026 runners the day they deserve! We are looking for volunteers for both our post race venue and our 2 cheer points.

The details are:
Sunday 26th April anywhere between 10:30am and 8:30pm dependent on your role

We have 2 roles available for volunteers
Cheer Point Volunteer - clap, shout and cheer-on our runners at one of our cheer points! One of our cheer point is located at the Holiday Inn Express, Limehouse (mile 14 and 21) and details for the other will be released soon.

Post-Race Runner Reception Volunteer: get ready for a champion’s welcome and register runners and meet their families at The Dilly hotel. You will be celebrating the runner and providing information and assistance with food, showers, photos and massages.

Exact timings and details for each role will be sent out to in a separate brief, but all are within the parameters of 10am-8pm. All timings are flexible and we can work with you to make sure that the timings work best with your own schedule.

Over the last year Shadow and Storm have raised an amazing £4275 by collecting at Brick Events across the country. To increase donations they have been wearing their online page QR codes for those who wanted to donate but didn't have cash. Great idea! 🙂

This year, we are thrilled to have fantastic new designs created by autistic artists Clive and Callum from Artrack. They are called Snow Bunny and Christmas Woods and are really beautiful cards that celebrate Christmas and the festive season. We also have many other traditional card designs to choose from, as well as a small number of Christmas-themed gifts, including Advent calendars, candles, wrapping paper and tags.

Craig is going above and beyond and throwing himself out of a plane to support and raise money. He is doing it for his three incredible children Lewis, Theo and Archie. He is raising money to help create a world that sees their worth, supports their challenges, and celebrates their differences.

When Craig takes that leap out of the plane, he won’t just be conquering a fear, he will be doing it for Lewis, Theo, and Archie, and for every other autistic person and family who deserves understanding, acceptance, and a brighter future. 💜
