And we’re a charity that believes good research can make life better. Sir Roger Jowell CBE and Gerald Hoinville co-founded Social and Community Planning Research (SCPR). In 1999 SCPR became the National Centre for Social Research and in 2012 was renamed NatCen Social Research.
