Yaumul ahad| 19th day of Safar, 1448 AH | Sunday, 2nd August, 2026. *_TAFSEER OF SŪRAH AN-NAAZI'AAT (Qur'an 79) continues_*. BismilLah

Let's continue with our studies of suurah An-Naazi'aat from verse 18-19. Please read yesterday's reminder first to understand this next verses well.

Verse 18
فَقُلْ هَل لَّكَ إِلَىٰ أَن تَزَكَّىٰ
"Say: 'Would you be willing to purify yourself?'" Meaning, Musah alaihi salaam was instructed to invite Pharaoh gently to repentance and purification from disbelief.
Even with the worst tyrant of his time, ALLAH Azzawajal commanded a respectful and wise invitation.
ALLAH AZZAWAJAL says:
"Speak to him gently; perhaps he may take heed or fear ALLAH." (Qur'an 20:44). This teaches that daʿwah should begin with wisdom, mercy, and sincere concern for people's guidance.

Verse 19
وَأَهْدِيَكَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَتَخْشَىٰ
"And let me guide you to your Lord so that you may fear HIM."
Meaning, True guidance leads to recognising ALLAH AZZAWAJAL, and recognising ALLAH AZZAWAJAL produces khashyah—a deep, reverential fear rooted in knowledge and love.
A heart that truly knows ALLAH AZZAWAJAL becomes humble, obedient, and conscious of HIM. To be continued tomorrow in Shaa ALLAH. *_May ALLAH Azzawajal keep guiding and protecting us from any satanic influences_*. Aameen.

Let's continue with our studies of suurah An-Naazi'aat from verse 16-17. Please read verse 15 of yesterday's reminder to understand this verses well.

Verse 16
إِذْ نَادَاهُ رَبُّهُ بِالْوَادِ الْمُقَدَّسِ طُوًى
"When his Lord called him in the sacred valley of Ṭuwā."
Meaning: ALLAH Azzawajal spoke directly to Musah عليه السلام in the blessed valley of Ṭuwā near Mount Sinai. This was the beginning of Musah's prophethood. ALLAH Azzawajal honoured him by speaking to him directly, which is why he is known as Kalīmullāh (the one to whom ALLAH spoke).
ALLAH Azzawajal says elsewhere:
"Indeed, I am ALLAH. There is no deity except ME, so worship ME..." (Qur'an 20:14). ALLAHU AKBAR.

Verse 17
اذْهَبْ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّهُ طَغَىٰ
"Go to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed."
Meaning: Pharaoh had exceeded all limits through oppression, disbelief, and claiming divine authority.
Pharaoh enslaved the Children of Israel, murdered their sons, and claimed lordship for himself. To be continued tomorrow in Shaa ALLAH. *_May ALLAH Azzawajal keep guiding and protecting us from any satanic influences_* Aameen.

Yaumul Jumuat | 17th day of Safar, 1448 AH | Friday, 31st July, 2026. *_TAFSEER OF SŪRAH AN-NĀZIʿĀT (Qur'an 79) continues_*. BismilLah

Assalaamu Alaikum Warahmatullah. Alhamdulillah for granting us the opportunity to be part of this blessed day of the week. Let's continue with our studies of suurah An-Naazi'aat from verses 15-26 which speaks about
Prophet Musah (alaihi salaam) and Pharaoh: a warning against arrogance.

The Connection with the Previous Verses. After affirming the certainty of the Resurrection and the Day of Judgment from verses 6–14, ALLAH (azza wa jal) presents the story of Prophet Musah (Moses) عليه السلام and Pharaoh (Firʿawn) as a historical proof and a warning.

Just as Pharaoh arrogantly denied ALLAH'S signs and was destroyed in this world, those who deny the Resurrection and reject ALLAH'S Messenger ﷺ should expect an even greater punishment in the Hereafter if they do not repent. ALLAHU AKBAR.

Verse 15
هَلْ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ مُوسَىٰ
"Has there reached you the story of Moses?"
ALLAH (azza wa jal) introduces one of the greatest stories in the Qur'an. It is not merely history but a lesson for every generation.
The story of Musah عليه السلام is mentioned more than that of any other prophet because it contains profound lessons about faith, patience, leadership, and the consequences of arrogance. To be continued tomorrow in Shaa ALLAH. *_May ALLAH Azzawajal keep guiding and protecting us from any satanic influences_*. Aameen.

Assalaamu Alaikum Warahmatullah. Let's continue with our studies of Surah An-Naazi'aat from verse 13.

Verse 13
فَإِنَّمَا هِىَ زَجْرَةٌ وَٰحِدَةٌ
"It will only be one mighty blast."
Meaning: Resurrection does not require effort from ALLAH azza wajal. A single command and a single blast of the Trumpet will bring every human being back to life.
ALLAH Azzawajal says:
"My command is but one, like the twinkling of an eye." (Qur'an 54:50).
For ALLAH Azzawajal, resurrecting billions of people is no more difficult than creating one soul.

Verse 14
فَإِذَا هُم بِٱلسَّاهِرَةِ
"Then suddenly they will be upon the open plain." Meaning "As-Sāhirah" refers to the vast, level land where all humanity will be gathered for judgment.
Every person—from Ādam (عليه السلام) until the last human being will stand together awaiting ALLAH'S judgment.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
"The people will be gathered on the Day of Resurrection on a white plain with no landmarks for anyone." (Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 6521; Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2790). ALLAHU AKBAR. To be continued tomorrow in Shaa ALLAH. *_May ALLAH Azzawajal keep guiding and protecting us from any satanic influences_*. Aameen.

Assalaamu Alaikum Warahmatullah. Let's continue with our studies of Surah An-Naazi'aat from verse 11 as ALLAH (azza wa jal) continues to inform us about the state of disbelievers on Judgment Day.

Verse 11
أَءِذَا كُنَّا عِظَـٰمًا نَّخِرَةً
"Even after we have become decayed bones?" Meaning,
The disbelievers argued that once their bones had decayed and crumbled, resurrection would be impossible.
ALLAH (azza wa jal) repeatedly answers this misconception throughout the Qur'an.
"Does man think that ALLAH (azza wa jal) will not assemble his bones? Yes indeed! WE are Able even to proportion his fingertips." (Qur'an 75:3–4). The One who created mankind from nothing can certainly recreate them.

Verse 12
قَالُوا تِلْكَ إِذًا كَرَّةٌ خَاسِرَةٌ
"They said: 'That would then be a losing return!'" Meaning,
The disbelievers sarcastically mocked the idea of resurrection, considering it absurd and undesirable.
Ironically, the real loss will be theirs when they are resurrected and held accountable before ALLAH (azza wa jal). To be continued tomorrow in Shaa ALLAH. *_May ALLAH (azza wa jal) keep guiding and protecting us from any satanic influences_*. Aameen.

Assalaamu Alaikum Warahmatullah. Let's continue with our studies of Surah An-Naazi'aat from verse 9 as ALLAH (azza wa jal) continues to inform us about the state of disbelievers on Judgment Day.
Verse 9
أَبْصَـٰرُهَا خَـٰشِعَةٌ
"Their eyes will be lowered in humiliation." Meaning: Their eyes will be cast down in disgrace because they can no longer deny the reality of the Hereafter. Those who were arrogant in this life will stand before ALLAH azzawajal in complete humiliation.
ALLAH azzawajal says:
"And all faces will be humbled before the Ever-Living, the Sustainer." (Qur'an 20:111).

Verse 10
يَقُولُونَ أَئِنَّا لَمَرْدُودُونَ فِى ٱلْحَافِرَةِ
"They say: 'Will we really be returned to our former state?'"
Meaning: This records the mockery of the disbelievers in Makkah. They found it impossible to believe that they would be brought back to life after death. Their objection was not based on evidence but on arrogance and refusal to accept ALLAH'S revelation through the Messengers of ALLAH azzawajal. *_May ALLAH azza wa jal keep guiding and protecting us from any form of disbelief_*. Let's continue with our studies of suurah An-Naazi'aat.
Verse 7
تَتْبَعُهَا ٱلرَّادِفَةُ
"It will be followed by the second blast." This refers to the second blowing of the Trumpet, after which all mankind will be resurrected from their graves.
Commentary
ALLAH Azzawajal says:
"Then it will be blown again, and behold, they will be standing, looking on." (Qur'an 39:68).
The Prophet ﷺ informed us that the interval between the two blasts is forty, but when asked whether it was forty days, months or years, Abū Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) said, "I refuse to speculate." This leaves the duration known only to ALLAH Azzawajal. (Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī and Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim).

Verse 8
قُلُوبٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ وَاجِفَةٌ
"Hearts on that Day will tremble."
Meaning: The hearts of those who denied ALLAH Azzawajal and neglected HIS commands will be filled with terror and anxiety. This fear will not be ordinary fear but overwhelming panic when people realise the truth they rejected throughout their lives.
ALLAH Azzawajal says:
"Warn them of the Day that is drawing near, when hearts will reach the throats..." (Qur'an 40:18). To be continued tomorrow in Shaa ALLAH. *_May ALLAH Azzawajal keep guiding and protecting us from any satanic influences_*. Aameen.

Alhamdulillah for granting us the opportunity to be part of this blessed day of the week.
Let's continue with our brief studies of suurah An-Naazi'aat. In yesterday's reminder, we studied about ALLAH Azzawajal swearing by HIS Angels who extract the souls of disbelievers forcefully. ALLAH Azzawajal then swear by HIS Angels who extract the souls of believers in the next verse.

Verse 2
وَٱلنَّاشِطَـٰتِ نَشْطًا
"And by those Angels who removes the souls of believers gently." The souls of believers leaves easily because it longs to meet ALLAH Azzawajal.
ALLAH Azzawajal says:
"Indeed, those who say, 'Our Lord is ALLAH and remain steadfast, the Angels descend upon them saying: 'Do not fear nor grieve, but receive glad tidings of Paradise.'" (Qur'an 41:30). The ease or hardship of death reflects one's relationship with ALLAH Azzawajal even though no human being sees what a dying person goes through during the final moments.

Verse 3
وَٱلسَّـٰبِحَـٰتِ سَبْحًا
"And by those Angels who glide swiftly." This refers to the Angels moving swiftly through the heavens carrying out ALLAH'S commands.
The word sabḥ literally means swimming or gliding smoothly.
ALLAH'S Angels never become tired or disobedient.
ALLAH Azzawajal says:
"They do not disobey ALLAH Azzawajal in what HE commands them but do what they are commanded." (Qur'an 66:6).
They continuously worship ALLAH Azzawajal and execute HIS commands without delay. To be continued tomorrow in Shaa ALLAH. *_May ALLAH Azzawajal keep guiding and protecting us from any satanic influences_*. Aameen.

Yaum Al-khamis | 9th day of Swafar, 1448 AH | Thursday, 23rd July, 2026. *_TAFSEER OF SŪRAH AN-NĀZIʿĀT (Qur'an 79)_*. BismilLah.

Let's continue with our Qur’an studies from Qur’an 79, suurah An-Naazi'aat verses 1-5 which speaks about Oaths by the Angels
carrying out ALLAH'S commands.

Historical Context of the Sūrah.
suurah An-Naazi'aat was revealed in Makkah during the early period of the Prophet Muhammad's ﷺ mission . At that time, the Quraysh strongly denied the Resurrection, mocked the Hereafter, and rejected the Prophet's message. The suurah begins with a series of solemn oaths by ALLAH Azzawajal. These oaths draw attention to the unseen world, particularly the Angels responsible for carrying out ALLAH’S commands, especially concerning the taking of souls and managing the affairs of creation. The opening verses emphasize that the Resurrection is certain and that every soul will eventually meet its Creator.

Verse 1
وَٱلنَّازِعَـٰتِ غَرْقًا
"By those Angels who extract forcefully."
Most scholars, including Imam Ibn Kathīr, Imam At-Ṭabarani, and Imam Al-Qurṭubī, explain that this refers to the Angels who violently pull out the souls of stubborn disbelievers at the time of death. The death of a believer differs greatly from that of one who persistently rejected ALLAH Azzawajal.
ALLAH Azzawajal says:
"If you could only see when the angels take the souls of those who disbelieved, striking their faces and their backs..." (Qur'an 8:50).
The Prophet ﷺ said:
"When the disbelieving servant is about to leave this world... the angels pull his soul out just as a multi-pronged skewer is pulled through wet wool." (Musnad Ahmad). This verse reminds us that death is not the end but the beginning of accountability. To be continued tomorrow in Shaa ALLAH. *_May ALLAH Azzawajal keep guiding and protecting us from any satanic influences_*. Aameen.

*_CAN THE WIFE SEEK COMPENSATION AFTER THE DIVORCE AND CAN SHE KEEP THE CHILDREN IF SHE WISH?_*. BismilLah.

First of all, it's important to note that, if you claim to be Muslim then you must abide by the complete rules of Islam or Shariah without any BUT OR WHY unless if you only wanted to be educated.

The issues of child custody and financial compensation after divorce are treated separately in Islamic law. The guiding principles are the best interests of the child, justice, and the rights that ALLAH Azzawajal has assigned to each party.

1. Who Has the Right to Keep the Children?
In general, the mother has the strongest right to physical custody of young children, provided she is:
A practicing Muslim. Of sound mind, Trustworthy and able to care for the child, Not placing the children in harm etc. The father, however, remains responsible for the child's financial maintenance, even if the child lives with the mother.

Supporting Hadith
A woman came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: "My womb carried this son, my breast fed him, and my lap was his home. Now his father has divorced me and wants to take him from me." The Prophet ﷺ replied:
"You have more right to him as long as you do not remarry."
This hadith is recorded in Sunan Abu Dawud and is accepted as evidence by many scholars regarding custody. To be continued tomorrow in Shaa ALLAH. *_May ALLAH Azzawajal keep guiding and protecting us from any satanic influences_*. Aameen.
