*_TAFSEER OF SUURAH AL-INFITAR (Qur’an 82) WITH CONTEXT / HISTORICAL BACKGROUND_*. BismilLah.

Alhamdulillah for granting us the opportunity to resume our studies of the Qur’an.

Suurah Al-Infitar vividly describes the events of the Day of Judgment and the signs of the approaching end of the world. The imagery of the sky splitting and the stars scattering emphasizes the absolute power of ALLAH Azzawajal and the certainty of resurrection. It reminds us that deeds, good or bad, are recorded and will be judged, urging accountability and moral consciousness.

This suurah was revealed at a time when the Prophet ﷺ faced ridicule from the disbelievers regarding the Hereafter. It emphasizes that all creation bears witness to the reality of the Day of Judgment, and that human actions are tracked and will have consequences. It’s a warning and a reminder to reflect on our lives and our responsibilities toward ALLAH Azzawajal and fellow humans. To be continued tomorrow with verse by verse meanings and commentary in shaa ALLAH.

*_We ask ALLAH Azzawajal to keep guiding our hearts, protecting our Eemaan from every satanic influence, and granting us sincerity in worship until we meet HIM_*. Aameen.

*_EID REFLECTIONS AND GUIDANCE_*. BismilLah.

Alhamdulillāh! All praise is due to ALLAH Azzawajal who guided us through the blessed days of Dhul-Ḥijjah and enabled us to witness and benefit from them. We ask HIM to accept our Hajj, fasting, prayers, sacrifices, charity, du‘ā, and every righteous deed performed during these sacred days.

For those whom ALLAH Azzawajal blessed with the opportunity to offer a sacrifice (Uḍḥiyah), we say Alhamdulillāh. And for those who sincerely intended to sacrifice but were unable to do so, may ALLAH Azzawajal accept their intentions and reward them according to their sincerity. May HE accept the Eid and sacrifices of all Muslims. Aameen.

ALLAH Azzawajal says:
"Say to Mankind, indeed, my Lord has guided me to a straight path, an upright religion, the way of Ibrahim, inclining toward truth. And he was not among those who associated partners with ALLAH." (Qur'an 6:161). This noble verse reminds us that the religion of all the Prophets and Messengers was submission and obedience to ALLAH Azzawajal. Although the laws given to different nations varied, their core message was the same: worship ALLAH alone and follow HIS guidance through the Messenger.

Ibrahim (ʿalayhis-salām), whose legacy we commemorate during Hajj and Eid al-Adhā, remains a shining example of complete submission, sincerity, and unwavering faith.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
"The prophets are paternal brothers; their mothers are different, but their religion is one." (Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī, 3443; Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim, 2365).
This authentic hadith confirms that all Prophets came with the same foundation of Tawḥeed, the worship of ALLAH alone, even though some aspects of their laws differed according to the needs of their communities.
As these blessed days come to an end, let us strive to preserve the good habits we developed, remain steadfast upon the straight path, and continue increasing in obedience to our Lord.
*_We ask ALLAH Azzawajal to keep guiding our hearts, protecting our Eemaan from every satanic influence, and granting us sincerity in worship until we meet HIM_*. Aameen.

*_HAJJ REFLECTIONS: THANKING ALLAH AZZAWAJAL AND THOSE HE USED TO BLESS THIS JOURNEY _*. BismilLah.

Assalaamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakaatuh.

Today marks Friday, the 12th of Dhul-Ḥijjah, as we gradually bid farewell to this year’s blessed Hajj and ‘Eid al-Aḍḥā season. We sincerely pray that ALLAH Azzawajal accepts the efforts, sacrifices, worship and du‘aas of all the hujjaj, and grants those who were unable to attend this year the means, health and opportunity to answer HIS divine invitation in the coming years. Aameen.

Personally, I would first and foremost like to sincerely thank ALLAH Azzawajal for honouring me with the invitation to visit HIS Sacred House, truly a journey of a lifetime and a favour that can never be repaid.

I would also like to humbly request special du‘aa for my beloved daughter, Shareefah, who sponsored this blessed journey from the savings of her very first job. May ALLAH Azzawajal immensely reward her, place barakah in her life, grant her pious husband and pious offspring, grant her success in this life and the next, and make her among HIS righteous servants. Aameen.

My sincere appreciation and prayers also go to every family member, My mothers, siblings friends and loved ones who contributed financially, emotionally or spiritually towards making this journey possible. May ALLAH Azzawajal reward you abundantly and multiply your kindness in ways beyond imagination.

Special mention and heartfelt gratitude to my junior brother, Salifu, one of my closest friends, Ali, and all those who supported this blessed journey one way or the other for their generous financial and emotional support. May ALLAH Azzawajal elevate their ranks, forgive their shortcomings and shower them with endless mercy and blessings. Aameen.

To my beautiful wives and children, I say jazakumullahu khayran for your patience, encouragement, support and motivation throughout this sacred journey. May ALLAH Azzawajal preserve you upon goodness and unite us all in Jannatul-Firdaws. Aameen.

I would equally like to thank all followers of the Daily Islamic Reminders for your patience, continuous support and sincere du‘aas during this period. Your prayers and kind words have truly meant a lot. May ALLAH Azzawajal accept it from us all and keep our hearts firm upon HIS religion. Aameen.

On this blessed day of Jumu‘ah, while standing in the blessed land of Makkah, I pray that ALLAH Azzawajal accepts all our du‘aas, grants us that which is best for us in this dunya and the akhirah, forgives our past, present and future sins, eases our hardships, heals our hearts and keeps us steadfast upon Islam until our final breath. Aameen.

Our Daily Islamic Reminders will officially resume tomorrow, Saturday, in shaa ALLAH.

May ALLAH Azzawajal continue to guide, protect and distance us from every satanic influence, evil temptation and misguidance. Aameen. Eid Mubarak to you all.

Yaumul ahad | 7th day of Dhul-Ḥijjah, 1447 AH | Sunday, 24th May 2026. *_TYPES OF ANIMAL SUITABLE FOR EIDUL ADHAR SACRIFICE_*. BismilLah.

Animal must be from specific types and meet the minimum Sharīʿah requirement to be suitable for Eid sacrifice.

The animals allowed are: Sheep, Goats, Cows/Bulls and Camels.
These are based on the livestock animals mentioned in the Qur’an and Sunnah.

Minimum Age Requirements
Sheep: At least 6 months old if it is healthy, large, and resembles a one-year-old sheep. Otherwise, many scholars prefer it to be 1 full year.
Goat: Must be at least 1 year old.
Cow/Bull: Must be at least 2 years old.
Camel: Must be at least 5 years old.

Number of People per Animal:
One sheep or goat is for one person or one household.
One cow/bull, can be shared by up to 7 people. One camel can also be shared by up to 7 people.

Conditions of the Animal:
The animal should be healthy and free from major defects. The Prophet ﷺ prohibited sacrificing animals that are: Blind in one eye
Clearly sick, Severely lame,
Extremely thin or weak. A beautiful, healthy animal is encouraged because it is an act of worship to ALLAH Azzawajal.

The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Do not slaughter except a musinnah (mature animal), unless it is difficult for you, in which case slaughter a جذعة (young sheep).”
Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim
“Musinnah” means an animal that reached the required maturity age.
“Jadha‘ah” refers to the six-month sheep exception.

*_May ALLAH Azzawajal accept the sacrifices and good deeds of the believers during the blessed days of Dhul-Ḥijjah_*. Aameen.

Yaumul Jumuat | 5th day of Dhul-Ḥijjah, 1447 AH | Friday, 22nd May 2026. *_JOURNEY OF A LIFE TIME TO MADINAH continues_*. BismilLah.

Alhamdulillah for granting us the opportunity to be part of this blessed day of the week. I pray that ALLAH Azzawajal blessed each of you reading and following these reminders on daily basis. May ALLAH Azzawajal accept it from us all. Aameen.

Another deeply spiritual experience in Madinah is visiting the blessed mountain of Uhud, the site of the famous Battle of Uhud in the third year after Hijrah. Alhamdulillah, I personally visited this huge mountain yesterday with some of the participants through the Ghana Hajj Board.

It was here that the Muslims initially gained victory, but when some of the archers disobeyed the direct command of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and left their positions in search of the spoils of war, the battle suddenly changed. The enemy attacked from behind, leading to the martyrdom of about seventy noble companions, including the beloved uncle of the Prophet ﷺ, Hamzah R.A.

The lessons from Uhud are timeless. One act of disobedience brought painful consequences upon the best generation of Muslims despite being in the company of the Prophet ﷺ himself. This should make us reflect deeply upon our own lives. If disobedience and sins had such an effect on them, then how can we expect our dua to be answered while we persist in sins and neglect the commands of ALLAH Azzawajal and HIS Messenger ﷺ?

True success, blessings, and acceptance of our supplications come through sincere obedience, repentance, and submission to ALLAH Azzawajal. Visiting Uhud is therefore not just a historical journey, but a powerful reminder that obedience to ALLAH Azzawajal and HIS Messenger ﷺ must remain central in every aspect of our lives.
In shaa ALLAH today after Jumuat salaat, we will set off from Madinah to Macca to continue with the acts of worship and will in shaa ALLAH be sharing the spiritual experience through this journey in tomorrow's reminder. *_May ALLAH Azzawajal accept it from us all and keep guiding and protecting us from any satanic influences_*. Aameen.

Yaum Al-khamis | 4th day of Dhul-Ḥijjah, 1447 AH | Thursday, 21st May 2026. *_JOURNEY OF A LIFE TIME TO MADINAH_*. BismilLah.

Visiting Madinah al-Munawwarah "the Radiant City" holds a place of immense sanctity in the heart of every Muslim. I personally arrived in this blessed city yesterday evening and it was just beautiful spiritual experience Allahu Akbar.

From the moment one enters Madinah, there is a palpable sense of calm and spiritual elevation unlike anywhere else on earth. The air itself feels different, serene, luminous, and heavy with history and love.

The centerpiece of the visit is the Prophet's mosque ﷺ, one of the most beautiful and peaceful places a believer can stand. Prayer here carries a reward of 1,000 prayers compared to any other mosque except al-Masjid al-Haram in Macca. The green dome marks the resting place of the Prophet ﷺ, and standing near it, sending salawat upon him, moves even the hardest of hearts to tears.

To walk to the rawdah, the area between the Prophet's grave and his pulpit, described as a garden from the gardens of Paradise, and to offer salam upon him ﷺ directly is an experience no words can fully capture. It is deeply personal, emotional, and spiritually transformative.

Praying two rakats in the rawdah is among the greatest gifts a visitor can receive. The opportunity, though sometimes requiring patience due to the crowds, is unforgettable.

Many weep without knowing why, it is as if the city itself welcomes the believer. Leaving Madinah is often described as one of the hardest moments of the journey which I'm yet to experience as I'm still here till tomorrow Friday in Shaa ALLAH. To be continued tomorrow in Shaa ALLAH.

May ALLAH Azzawajal grant every believer the opportunity to visit, and may HE accept from all those us who are currently here. Aameen.

Yaum athalaatha | 3rd day of Dhul-Ḥijjah, 1447 AH | Wednesday, 20th May 2026. *_DO NOT WASTE ANY DAY ON THESE BLESSED DAYS OF DHUL-HIJJAH_*. BismilLah.

In shaa ALLAH, I will shortly be departing for Madinah as one of those whom ALLAH Azzawajal has invited for this year’s blessed pilgrimage. I therefore chose to share this reminder early before my departure.
May ALLAH Azzawajal accept it from us all and grant us safe journey, sincerity, beneficial knowledge, and righteous deeds. Aameen.

These blessed days are short and pass quickly. Many people become busy with worldly matters while the doors of mercy are wide open.
Use these days to:
Seek forgiveness sincerely. Leave sins behind. Repair your relationship with ALLAH Azzawajal.
Make dua for your family and the Ummah. Let's Prepare for the Hereafter. A person may change their entire destiny through sincere repentance and worship in these blessed days.
May ALLAH Azzawajal accept our deeds, forgive our sins and Grant us good health to be able to complete these acts of worship successful. Aameen.

Yaum al-ithnayn | 2nd day of Dhul-Ḥijjah, 1447 AH | Tuesday, 19th May 2026. *_WHY WE GO ROUND THE KAABAH 7 TIMES_*. BismilLah.

Let's continue with our studies as to; Why Seven Times Specifically. The number seven appears repeatedly in Islamic worship and creation: Seven Heavens, Seven Earths, Seven Rounds of Ṭawāf,
Seven Circuits between Ṣafā and Marwah, Seven pebbles in stoning the Jamarāt.
ALLAH Azzawajal chose this number in many acts of worship. The precise wisdom is not fully known because the reason was not revealed by ALLAH Azzawajal, but Muslims follow it because ALLAH Azzawajal and HIS Messenger ﷺ prescribed it. This is an important principle in Islam: Acts of worship are based on revelation, not human invention but as Muslims we follow what ALLAH Azzawajal and HIS Messenger have requested us to do.
The Prophet ﷺ performed ṭawāf seven times and instructed the Ummah to follow his rituals.
He said:
“Take your rites of Hajj from me.” — Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim.

In Summary
Ṭawāf around the Ka‘bah:
originates from the worship established by Abraham (AS),
was restored by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, symbolizes unity, submission, and devotion to ALLAH Azzawajal, mirrors heavenly worship, and is performed seven times because ALLAH Azzawajal legislated it through revelation.
It is not idol worship, but one of the purest manifestations of Tawḥīd, directing the heart, body, and soul entirely toward ALLAH Azzawajal. *_May ALLAH Azzawajal keep guiding and protecting us from any satanic influences_*. Aameen.

Yaumul ahad | 1st day of Dhul-Ḥijjah, 1447 AH | Monday, 18th May 2026. *_HISTORICAL CONTEXT AS TO WHY MUSLIMS PERFORM TAWAF (CIRCUMAMBULATION) 7 TIMES DURING HAJJ AND UMRAH_*. BismilLah.

As we continue with yesterday’s reminder, let us first remember that the blessed first ten days of Dhul-Ḥijjah have begun today. These are among the most virtuous days in the sight of ALLAH Azzawajal, so let us strive to increase in fasting, righteous deeds, remembrance of ALLAH, charity, Qur’an recitation and sincere repentance, while staying away from sins and anything that displeases HIM. Our beloved Messenger of ALLAH ﷺ said:
“There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to ALLAH than these ten days.” — Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī
May ALLAH Azzawajal grant us the ability to make the most of these precious days and accept all our acts of worship. Aameen. Back to our topic;

Why Circle Around the Ka‘bah.
Basically, It symbolizes complete devotion to ALLAH Azzawajal.
The Ka‘bah is not worshipped itself. Muslims worship ALLAH Azzawajal alone. The Ka‘bah serves as the central direction of unity (Qiblah).
Circling around it symbolizes:
placing ALLAH Azzawajal at the center of life, moving in obedience around HIS command, and showing total submission.
Just as planets orbit a center by ALLAH’S decree, believers spiritually orbit the House dedicated to HIS worship.
Why Seven Times Specifically? To be continued on that tomorrow in Shaa ALLAH. *_May ALLAH Azzawajal keep guiding and protecting us from any satanic influences_*. Aameen.

Yaumul ahad | 30th day of Dhul-Qa'dah, 1447 AH | Sunday, 17th May 2026. *_HISTORICAL CONTEXT AS TO WHY MUSLIMS PERFORM TAWAF (CIRCUMAMBULATION) 7 TIMES DURING HAJJ AND UMRAH_*. BismilLah.

Assalaamu 'Alaykum Wa Rahmatullah. Dear Brothers and Sisters in Islaam, I write to inform you that, in shaa ALLAH, our Qur'ān Studies Series will be temporarily suspended effective today till after Hajj. During this period, I will endeavour to share educational content pertaining to the blessed rites of Ḥajj. Please note that all communications will be paused from the 8th to the 13th of Dhul-Ḥijjah, as I will be fully engaged in the performance of the Ḥajj rituals, by the grace of ALLAH Azzawajal. I humbly request that you remember me in your du'ās, and I sincerely pledge to remember each and every one of you in mine, in shaa ALLAH. Jazākumullāhu Khayran. Back to our topic.

The circling of the Ka‘bah seven times in Hajj and ‘Umrah is called Ṭawāf. It is one of the most spiritually powerful acts in Islam and carries deep historical, theological, and symbolic meanings rooted in revelation, the legacy of Prophets, and worship of ALLAH Azzawajal alone.

The Historical Origin of Ṭawāf.
1. The Ka‘bah was built for the worship of THE ONLY ONE GOD.
ALLAH Azzawajal says:
“Indeed, the first House established for mankind was that at Bakkah (Makkah), blessed and a guidance for the worlds.” — Qur’an 3:96.

According to Islamic tradition, the foundations of the Ka‘bah go back to Prophet Adam peace be upon him, but it was later rebuilt by Prophet Ibrahim(Abraham) peace be upon him and his son Prophet Ismail peace be upon him under ALLAH’S command.

ALLAH Azzawajal says:
“And [mention] when Ibrahim and Ismail were raising the foundations of the House…” — Qur’an 2:127.

After building it, Ibrahim (A.S) was commanded to call humanity to pilgrimage: ALLAH Azzawajal says;
“And proclaim to mankind the Hajj…” — Qur’an 22:27.

Ṭawāf therefore connects Muslims directly to the worship established by Ibrahim (Alaihi Salaam). Why Circle Around the Ka‘bah? To be continued tomorrow in Shaa ALLAH. *_May ALLAH Azzawajal keep guiding and protecting us from any satanic influences_*. Aameen.
