Last chance to have your say on proposed CMA requirements.
The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) is consulting on draft requirements that will introduce new obligations for veterinary businesses, including changes around pricing, prescriptions, ongoing medication and client information.
The consultation also includes a proposed waiting room poster encouraging clients to compare prices and consider buying medicines elsewhere.
We're raising our concerns about the messaging, language and design of the proposed poster, which practices will be required to display in their waiting rooms. We’ll be highlighting these concerns in our formal response.
If you have concerns about the proposed poster, take a few minutes today to respond directly to the CMA. We’ve put together suggested lines to help you share your feedback.
