Shadow Equalities Minister Joy Morrissey opened our fringe event at the Conservative Party Conference on Sunday, and praised our legal centre and our clients Jennifer Melle and Bethany Hutchison for the courage and personal sacrifice they have shown in challenging NHS policies and practices.

Joy committed herself to continuing to support the nurses, and extended Kemi Badenoch's gratitude to Christian Concern and Chief Executive of the Christian Legal Centre, Andrea Williams, for the work on the cases.

"When reality meets NHS policy"

At the weekend we hosted a fringe event at the Conservative Party Conference, where our Chief Executive Andrea Williams was joined by Shadow Equalities Minister Joy Morrissey as well as nurses Bethany Hutchison and Jennifer Melle, plus the Christian Legal Centre's Michael Phillips.

God created all of us either male or female, and we are continuing to work towards creation reality being re-established in our nation.

Our clients Jennifer Melle and Bethany Hutchison were both punished by the NHS for standing their ground on the fact that men cannot become women and women cannot become men.

Jesus himself said: "Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female?"

We pray that our work will mean that no more women have to experience what they have experienced.

✍️ Sign our petition before we hand it in ✍️

Around the country, the Christian message is being increasingly silenced in public spaces. But in Colchester, this has taken a new form with the council seeking to stop evangelists from mentioning judgement and hell.

Bread of Life Community Church from Colchester was issued with a Community Protection Notice (CPN) that could criminalise its pastor and members for preaching in the city centre.

Christian Concern and the Christian Legal Centre are backing the church as it challenges the legality of the notice in court in late October.

We created a petition that calls on on Colchester City Council to take urgent action to defend the right of churches to preach the gospel peacefully in public - which reached 25,000 signatures.

We’re handing in the petition to Colchester City Council in just over a week - so take this final opportunity to sign the petition and stand up for the right to preach the gospel on the streets of the UK ✍️
