Three Years Marching in Step: Give Us Time Secures Renewed Army Central Fund Funding
Give Us Time is delighted to announce that it has received funding from the Army Central Fund for a third consecutive year, reflecting the two organisations’ shared commitment to improving the wellbeing of serving Army families.
The ongoing support will help more families step away from the pressures of Service life, reconnect with one another, and create lasting memories together during much-needed time away.
Clarise, who recently enjoyed a family break at Loch Tay, shared the impact of the experience:
"The peaceful setting and stunning scenery gave us the perfect place to relax and spend quality time together as a family. We left feeling refreshed and wishing we could have stayed longer."
Stories like Clarise's demonstrate the lasting value of these breaks, giving families the opportunity to pause, recover and strengthen family bonds away from the demands of everyday military life.
Lt Col Rupert Forrest MBE (Ret’d), from Give Us Time said:
"For the families we support, time together means everything. Receiving support from the Army Central Fund for a third year running is hugely significant because it means more Army families will have the chance to pause, reconnect and make memories together when they need it most."
The Army Central Fund exists to improve the wellbeing of serving British Army personnel and their immediate families. This continued funding will enable even more serving Army families to access respite breaks at times when they need them most.
