Today, on International Overdose Awareness Day, the Global Indian Organization(GIO) stands in solidarity with individuals, families, friends, and communities affected by overdose.Today, on International Overdose Awareness Day, the Global Indian Organization(GIO) stands in solidarity with individuals, families, friends, and communities affected by overdose.

This day is about remembrance, awareness, compassion, and hope. Every life lost to overdose is a tragedy that leaves a lasting impact on loved ones and communities. It is also a reminder that prevention, education, support, and early intervention can save lives.

Let us work together to break the stigma surrounding substance use, encourage open conversations, and ensure that those who need help know they are not alone. By creating awareness, sharing knowledge, and supporting recovery, we can help prevent overdose and build stronger, healthier communities.

Today, we remember those we have lost, support those who are struggling, and stand with every family affected by addiction and overdose.

Together, we can create awareness, inspire action, and save lives.
