📣🎶 Calling: Warwickshire Young Musicians! 🎶📣

We are thrilled to announce the next:

🌟 Leamington Sinfonia Young Soloists’ Competition! 🌟

In January 2027, three young musicians (21 and under) from Warwickshire will make their debut with the Leamington Sinfonia, performing a concerto (or movement(s) from a concerto) in the hope of winning the Leamington Sinfonia Young Soloists' Competition 2027.

The winner will be given the opportunity to perform a concerto in full with the orchestra in 2027/28.

The judges will be three professional musicians who regularly work in Leamington. Three participants will be chosen after a review of online applications.

The George Enescu International Competition stands among the leading platforms dedicated to discovering and supporting the next generation of classical musicians.

Open to all artists born after August 1, 1991, the 20th edition features four sections: violin, cello, piano, and composition. Held in Bucharest, the Competition brings young performers into direct contact with renowned juries, international agents, and artistic directors, offering not only recognition but real career opportunities.

The total prize pool exceeds €150,000 and it includes awards for the interpretation of works by George Enescu, Audience Awards and other special given by our partners. Laureates are further invited to perform in future editions of the George Enescu International Festival and in concert seasons of leading institutions and winning compositions are considered to be performed in the upcoming opening concert of the 2028 Enescu Competition.

• Composition: June 30, 2026
