🌼 𝟭,𝟱𝟬𝟬 𝗯𝘂𝗹𝗯𝘀 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝗡𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘀! 🌼

What a fantastic afternoon! Volunteers from North Camp Clean Up Rangers got stuck in planting around 1,500 spring bulbs across Napier Gardens and along the road.

Mostly daffodils (classic yellow trumpets and tall mixed varieties), plus crocuses, a woodland collection and a big mixed pack of spring favourites. We've lined the pathways with bulbs, planted mixed daffodils right up the road, and scattered field poppies around the Hub.

A huge thank you to the lovely young family who joined us. The little ones were brilliant helpers and proved you're never too young to make a difference! 💚

The weather was perfect, we got a few cheerful shouts of "thank you" from passing cars (at least we think that's what they said 😄), and we finished off with a well-earned cuppa, courtesy of Judith. ☕

Come spring, keep an eye out for a splash of colour on your walk through Napier Gardens. 🌷

We have 1 of these in Napier gardens

📹 New mobile CCTV cameras are on the move across Aldershot and Farnborough—helping us target antisocial behaviour and fly-tipping hotspots where they happen.

Thanks to £12,500 from the Police and Crime Commissioner’s Anti-social Behaviour Fund, we’ve purchased two solar and battery-powered cameras.

Because they’re mobile, we can put them in areas experiencing repeated problems—helping to deter offences, capture evidence and support enforcement action.

👀 Your reports make a difference. They help us spot patterns and decide where mobile CCTV could have the greatest impact. Please keep reporting antisocial behaviour and fly-tipping.

Together, we can help keep Rushmoor cleaner and safer. 💚

A big thank you to everyone who came out with us today for a litter pick off Lynchford Road, around the woodland next to the army base. There were five of us altogether, including one young helper, and between us we collected 𝟭𝟰 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗮𝗴𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝘂𝗯𝗯𝗶𝘀𝗵. ❤️

Most of what we found was empty bottles, cans and, sadly, lots of poo bags that people seem to pick up and then throw into the woods.

𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲, 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲, 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝘂𝗯𝗯𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂.

Putting dog poo in a bag and then throwing the bag into the woods really doesn’t help.

This woodland is home to plenty of wildlife. Just last night we spotted 𝗳𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗿 roaming around here, and we’d really like to keep the area clean and safe for them as well as for everyone who walks through it.

We’ve been trying to get some litter bins provided near the army land, but unfortunately we haven’t managed to get anywhere with that so far.

𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝗻, 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗶𝘁 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗼𝘂𝘁.

We’ve added a map to show where we worked today. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘀 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗱. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗮 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗹𝘆-𝘁𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗱.

That section is outside the council’s land and has been difficult to raise with the military. There is far too much there, and some of it is too heavy for us to deal with as a normal litter pick.

Good Afternoon Farnborough! 👋

Your local Neighbourhood Policing Team have been conducting patrols around Napier Garden following recent reports of anti-social behaviour in the area. 🚓

Recent reports have highlighted that some visitors have been throwing rubbish into the pond. Littering is not only inconsiderate to other park users, but it can also have a negative impact on wildlife and water quality (once the water decides to return to the pond...!)

We encourage everyone visiting Napier Garden to think of others when in this shared space by disposing of their rubbish responsibly and using the bins provided. ♻️

Officers will continue to carry out patrols in the area where possible and engage with members of the public to help maintain a safe and pleasant environment for everyone. 🦆
