Hello everyone

I would like to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone that helped on setup and throughout the show , It would never happen without you..
Family, friends and some for the first time.

Also a massive shout to everyone that came along in cars bikes ,lorries and on foot.. as always without your support the charity's would not get the support they need...

Well ladies and gents of the SSR,
Its the morning after the day before and we're all feeling our age! (Who knew hair could ache as well as bones and muscles?!)
It was a long hard few days but the club feel it was worth it, and we hope you all enjoyed attending Wheelsday 51 as much as we enjoyed having you there.
Everyone we have spoken to seemed to have a great day even with the annoying drizzle from time to time.

We were so very pleased to be able to make our first donations from the money raised at this years show on the day; the first was to the fantastic team at the Royal Surrey Charity who support our clubs local major hospital with extra equipment so the hardworking team of doctors and nurses can treat everyone with even more cutting edge equipment. And secondly to the amazing Fran and her team from the West Berks Foodbank. who support all those in need in and around our show in Newbury and the greater West Berkshire area. Both charities were presented with boxes of chocolates and easter eggs at the start of the day to help towards their fund rasing work on the day before we presented them with £1000 each to help them continue their wonderful work supporting the communities of Surrey and Berkshire.
Hopefully you all agree they were worthwhile causes to start the donations this year.
And a massive thankyou to MrD Slot Drag Racing for attending this years show with their drag strip, and to everyone who enjoyed a race or 3 for £1. They donated well over £100 that we have added to our raised funds and will go towards our charitable work this year. Thankyou Steven and crew.

Now the show is over and the final packing away is underway for another year, the members will be taking a little break for a rest and family time this Easter. Please feel free to drop us a message if you need to contact us but understand it may take sometime to get a response.
In the meantime, please feel free to tag us in any photos you share on social media as I'm sure there will be plenty of people out there who will appreciate seeing them.
Thank again to everyone who came out to support us this year. It truly is appreciated!!!

Good morning ladies and gents,
Wheelsday 51 is 48 hours away!!!! Don't panic!!!!!!
All of us here at the SSR garages are hard at work on the lead up to our prep day for the show. Storage units are being emptied into vans, final preparations are being made, and journeys planned to get us to Newbury Showground ready for setup day tomorrow, ready to welcome you all friday.

Public viewing passes are currently on advance sale for 20% less than on the day available here - https://www.wheelsday.co.uk/public-viewing-terms-and-conditions/
They will stay at the discounted rate until tomorrow night, so if you plan to come why not pre-book.
Your unique QR coded ticket will be emailed to you when you purchase the ticket. Save them to your phone or print them, then present it at the public viewing gate for our Marshall to scan.

And if you have a motorbike and plan to visit, why not book your bike slot and save the hassle of finding cash on arrival. Present your QR coded ticket on your phone when you turn up for our arena crew to scan and park up. No fumbling around for your wallet and cash!

And we are done - Car clubs and single arena pass sales are now CLOSED!!!
If you waited until today I'm afraid you're too late now.
We've had an amazing response so thank you to all who bought their passes for this years show. I've personally sent out well over 1500 passes so its set to be a massive show. They should be with most of you by now. Those who bought them in the last week will be in the mail system on their way to you.
Royal Mail will have emailed everyone who bought a ticket with their tracking details when shipped so you can track your passes.

The trial this year of our new digital QR ticket entry system for bikes and public viewing tickets is still live and will be right up until the day!

Good morning SSR members,
Well its the first monday of spring and Wheelsday 51 is less than a month away. I'm pleased to announce that the majority of passes have shipped and should be on their way to everyone who has bought an arena pass whether single or club pass. If you entered your details correctly Royalmail will have emailed you with tracking to say the label has been printed and its on its way. Please keep track of it!!! Its shipped on 48 hour tracked post so as soon as its scanned at the sorting office it should be with you within 2 days. If it hasn't got to you within a week please let us know! DO NOT wait until a day before the show as there is nothing we can do by that point.

For those who haven't bought a pass yet, there is still time. We are leaving single arena pass sales open for another 2 weeks so if you haven't already, head over to www.wheelsday.co.uk and buy your arena pass to show your car. We've got nearly 1500 cars booked in this year so why not join them!!!

For those who like to come to support us as a viewing public, this year we are offering prebook entry passes on the lead up to the show at a discounted rate of £8! Head over to our website to buy your viewing ticket to take advantage of the discounted entry all the way up to the day before the show. You will be sent your entry ticket by email with your unique QR code attached. When you arrive at the show, use our Prebooked spectator entry queue to enter, show our marshals your QR code to scan and in you go. No messing about with money or change, just scan and enter!
Kids under 16 still go free and don't need a pass to enter.

Club Stand Update
If you or your club applied for a club stand please log in to pay for your stand asap!
Club passes are ready to ship out so you can pass them out to your members.

Single Arena Pass Update
Passes are now being enveloped up for everyone who has bought their single passes. Shipping will commence at the end of next week all being well. If you entered your email address Royal Mail will message you when they ship to let you know.

Race Car Update
We will be contacting everyone who has applied this week
