This , we would like to highlight some of the many ways Royal Surrey Charity is supporting the mental health and wellbeing of our hardworking NHS staff. 💙🤝💜
Last weekend, 38 members of staff took part in the Guildford Inflatable 5K after Royal Surrey Charity provided free places to help staff build connections with their colleagues and have fun outside of work.
Lily from the Computer Sciences Team at Royal Surrey took part alongside colleagues and shared her experience. She said:
“The Inflatable 5K was an unforgettable experience, and I am glad I was able to share it with some of my colleagues. The atmosphere on the day was fantastic, with everyone involved being energetic and supportive, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
“As a member of staff, supporting our Trust charity is very important to me because of the numerous initiatives Royal Surrey Charity is undertaking. Initiatives that help improve staff wellbeing, morale, and workplace environments are incredibly valuable.”
As part of Mental Health Awareness Week, we're also offering everyone the chance to sign up for this year’s Stride for Cancer Care sponsored walk for just £10 using the code WELLBEING50 before Sunday. The event takes place on Sunday 4 October and is proudly sponsored by Kelly’s Storage. This is yet another opportunity to enjoy a day out together with friends, family or colleagues, all while raising funds to support patients at the Royal Surrey Cancer Centre. 💜🏥
