🐝 A Buzzing Partnership for World Bee Day! 🐝
On this World Bee Day, we’re thrilled to share a truly special collaboration that’s creating real impact! The WoodMor Foundation and Little Gate Farm have officially joined forces to revolutionise employability—empowering individuals with learning disabilities and autism to gain skills, confidence, and paid employment through the transformative art of beekeeping.
🌿 Introducing 'Becoming a Beekeeper' 🌿
The WoodMor Foundation’s ‘Becoming a Beekeeper’ programme fits perfectly within the nurturing environment of Little Gate Farm. Through hands-on experience with bee husbandry, participants will develop essential employability skills like teamwork, problem-solving, and communication—all captured in their unique MeMovie®, providing compelling proof of their abilities to potential employers.
🚀 Why It Matters 🚀
By working together, WoodMor and Little Gate Farm are breaking barriers to employment, promoting inclusivity, and ensuring participants have the tools to thrive.
"It’s an incredible, caring, kind, and supportive environment. We couldn’t be happier to partner with Little Gate Farm, and we can’t wait to see this initiative in action!" – Matthew Wood, Founder, WoodMor Foundation
"Bee husbandry will bring immense employment skills to our participants, and with the addition of the MeMovie®️, they’ll be even better equipped to move forward into meaningful work." – Hannah Briars, Head of Little Gate Farm
Together, we’re making a real difference—and what better way to celebrate World Bee Day than by helping future beekeepers take flight! 🐝✨
Let’s spread the buzz! Share the news and help us champion diversity, inclusivity, and opportunity.
