September marks Gynaecological Cancer Awareness Month
Every year, thousands of women are diagnosed with a gynaecological cancer — ovarian, womb, cervical, vaginal or vulval. Knowing your body and recognising the signs early can make a real difference.
Some symptoms are easy to put down to something else — bloating, changes in your cycle, discomfort — but if something doesn't feel right or doesn't go away, please get it checked. You know your body best.
This month, we're sharing key signs to look out for across all five gynaecological cancers. Take a moment to read through, share with the women in your life, and don't hesitate to speak to your GP if anything feels unusual or persistent.
If you're going through a gynaecological cancer diagnosis or treatment, we're here to support you.
