We have had to write a number of Rainbow Bridge posts recently, so our posts this Sunday are going to be happy posts. Let's start with a Happy Tails post. Amber from Burduja Trifan Ionela, now Wensley and living in the South West of England since July 2025. Below is what her family wrote:
Wensley is the most wonderful dog we could ever have hoped for. Adopted from Romania, she has brought so much happiness and love into our lives. While every dog brings joy to a family, Wensley has made our home brighter, and fluffier! She has gracefully embraced all the creature comforts of being a loved house pet, from proudly wearing one of the multiple outfits we have for her, to rummaging through her baskets of toys to find the perfect one to play with.
Having a pet who is also a rescue from another country makes her place in our home feel even more meaningful. As a family of immigrants, we understand what it means to move to a new country and begin a new chapter. While Wensley's journey is, of course, very different from our own, caring for her with patience and helping her settle into a new home has felt deeply familiar. She has brought immense love and joy into our lives, and her story makes her feel even closer to our family.
If you're thinking about adopting a dog, we wholeheartedly recommend adopting through Stray2Me Rescue . Thanks to them, we found the piece that was missing from our family and we will always be grateful for the love and happiness Wensley has brought into our lives. Giving a rescue dog a second chance has been one of the most rewarding experiences imaginable, and we couldn't encourage it more.
