Hello!
We are Boathouse Theatre Arts 🎭

We host 3 sessions a week during term time, delivering high quality theatrical workshops to children and adults living with disability and/or neurodiversity.

Founded in 2010, we have 16yrs of working within our SEN community, supporting our members to become their very best both on stage and in their lives

Prop, props and more props!
For all our shows, all 3 groups like to create and design their props.
The Children's Group and Tuesday Group made them for our Summer Show back in July, but what could the Sunday Groups be for?! 🤔

Did you see Hastings Carnival this year? Unfortunately most of the Boathouse Staff Team were away, but that didn't stop a few of our members and a volunteer going down and joining in the fun!

We truly have the most special staff Team!

A wonderfully perfect mix of all aspects of theatre, people skills, paid and Volunteers- everyone brings their passion, skill and dedication to our sessions and builds each production.

Also, a huge thank you to the Rotary Club of Bexhill who recently gifted us the funds to buy all staff and trustees new t-shirts- they look awesome, thank you!

The wait is over!
Get ready for an action-packed afternoon as all three of our incredible theatre groups take the stage for the Summer Spotlight!

Join us to celebrate our members as they spotlight all things summer in a performance you won't want to miss.

When & Where:
Doors open today at 2:20 PM with the show starting at 3:00 PM.

We are performing at the Ark Alexandra Theatre, located on Parkstone Road in Hastings.

Tickets & Pricing:
Adult tickets (16+) are £12.50,
child tickets (5-15) are £9.00,

family ticket for two adults and two children is £40.00 (plus small online booking fees).

Remember that online ticket sales will close today at 2:00 PM!

On the Day:
We will have a brilliant Café and Raffle running on-site, but please keep in mind that this is a CASH ONLY event for any purchases made at the theatre.
