Thanks to Matthew and Marian at Howden Insurance for inviting us to another great networking event this evening, this time supporting The Furzedown Project. Great to see so many familiar and new faces and to hear some of the attendees and volunteers' stories.

Adam and Chris of the local Furzedown independent estate agents Alexander Seymour very kindly helped the project again this year. We really do believe it takes a village and Furzedown is just that kind of village, rallying to make things better for those who need it most.

A huge thank you to everyone who has helped us bring the project to fruition.

For the first time, this year we invited Links Primary School to be part of our project and we were so pleased to be able to deliver their Gift from Furzedown presents a couple of weeks ago too. A huge thank you to the lovely staff who welcomed us and helped unload the bags, no mean feat so we really appreciated the help!

We had the pleasure of delivering the Gift from Furzedown presents to schools a couple of weeks ago. It's always great to catch up with the Senior Leadership Team in Penwortham School and to hear how important this project is to the school. They all work so hard to give all the children in their care, the best start in life.

A special thank you to the brilliant Penwortham PTA for supporting this project and working tirelessly to fundraise for the school and to David and Kamilah from Furzedown Builders who came to the rescue with their van to help us deliver as we've now exceeded capacity for our regular car boots!

Wishing everyone a well earned Christmas break!

Christmas is almost here so we'd love to share some photos of the lovely team at Howden who very kindly supported us this year, wrapping gifts in their office in Tooting earlier this month. A huge thank you to Howden Insurance!

Looking through some of the thank you cards we received from children chosen to receive our Gifts from Furzedown Christmas stockings last year. The saying goes 'it takes a village' and we really couldn't do this without the wonderful Furzedown community of local businesses and residents who so kindly support the project. Thank you for all your help and believing in what we do, you really make a difference to the families and children!

As well as toys and carts and crafts materials, we always include a book for each child. With so many great books for children, it's sometimes hard to decide which to give but alway fun choosing!
