بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم و الصلاة والسلام على نبينا محمد و على آله وصحبه أجمعين
To our dear community,
By the grace, generosity and guidance of Allah, and thanks to your heartfelt response to the call to support our brothers, sisters and families in Algeria who were affected by the devastating wildfires that struck several provinces of our beloved country, we have been able to raise a total of:
£40,000
The purpose of this campaign is to provide essential support to affected families through the purchase of generators, machinery, electrical equipment and essential household appliances.
Alhamdulillah , all necessary legal and coordination procedures have been facilitated with the relevant official authorities, in accordance with the guidance of His Excellency President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, who has emphasised and recognised the importance of organised relief efforts carried out through official channels and state institutions.
In the United Kingdom, coordination has also taken place with the Consulate General of Algeria in London, headed by His Excellency the Consul General, alongside the General Command of the Algerian Muslim Scouts, Al-Fath Association, Hira Association, and active members of the Algerian community, including Mr Elias.
The General Command of the Algerian Muslim Scouts has carried out fieldwork and an assessment of the actual needs on the ground to help ensure that the support reaches those who need it most.
Insha’Allah, representatives from Al-Fath Association and Hira Association will undertake a field visit to witness the distribution process, meet affected families and residents, and convey to them a clear message of solidarity, support and compassion from our community here in the UK.
The distribution will be carried out in coordination with and under the supervision of the General Command of the Algerian Muslim Scouts, to whom we express our sincere thanks and appreciation for their valuable work and efforts on the ground.
May Allah bless you all, reward you abundantly for your generosity, and accept your contributions and good deeds.
Jazakum Allahu Khayr.
