The Lions part was born out of The Original Shakespeare Company and recently a sibling has arrived. On Cue Theatre Co. has been founded to present Shakespeare with minimal rehearsal, no director and with the actors learning their parts from cue scripts. If you’d like to find out how this works, and how to gain the skills to forensically study your part, On Cue are giving workshops on Saturday 21st and 28th, 11:30-15:00 at the Soho Theatre Walthamstow for the absolute bargain price of £10! You’ll never study a Shakespeare text in quite the same way again.

“It was fantastic! Illuminating, fun and terrifying all at the same time!”
“approach was exhilarating”
“Superb guidance and highly recommended..an insightful session…”
“I really enjoyed the workshop -I’m really keen on the method”

October Plenty 2025 is done!

Thank you Coventry for welcoming us with open arms and allowing us to bring our beloved festival to your streets, where it felt perfectly home.

We were treated to many beautiful moments throughout the day: Being brought into the New Cathedral to present the Tempest Masque, processing across the city streets, performances and storytelling in FarGo Village, and executing John Barleycorn inside the Twisted Barrel Brewery! Every moment was truly wonderful!

A huge huge thank you to all involved: The Fabularium, Bladder & String, Flawed Mandrake Theatre, Coventry Cathedral, St Mary's Guildhall, FarGo Village Coventry and Twisted Barrel Brewery and Tap House!

And should you wish to donate to help us continue what we hope will become a Coventry tradition, then please donate here:

Coventry, we will see you next October. And London, we’ll be seeing you very soon for Twelfth Night!
