This week, Lily joined us on her Work Experience Placement from Ripley St Thomas Church of England Academy. It was great to have a new face helping and whilst the experience was an important part of her eductaion, its also just as important to us to show her generation who we are and what we do 😊.

A Million Acts of Hope celebrates the everyday actions that help people feel connected, supported and less alone.

This week were celebrating the acts of hope that are created every day in the Lancaster District...

Acts of hope are redefining what is possible at Neuro DropIn.

As Sharon Jackson reflects, every day at Neuro Drop In is about the hope that people might leave feeling better, stronger, fitter and part of a community.

In one recent Pilates session, wheelchair users and ambulant members exercised side by side, laughing, cheering one another on and giving it their all.

“𝙄𝙩’𝙨 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨. 𝙄𝙩’𝙨 𝙖𝙡𝙬𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙝𝙤𝙥𝙚, 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮, 𝙛𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙘𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮.”

Based in Lancaster and supporting people across Lancaster and Morecambe, Neuro Drop In offers a welcoming home-from-home for people living with neurological conditions, along with their families and carers.

At Neuro Drop In, people are not defined by their diagnosis. They are supported to move, connect and rediscover what is possible.
