Our team and our guests have enjoyed the blossoming roses in our garden space this week. As well as some stunning peonies which one of our volunteers brought in to brighten the tables in our main room. They definitely brought a few smiles 💚

The wet weather makes quite a change from the glorious sunshine over the bank holiday weekend! Here's a snapshot of the activities at our Open Garden Event on Saturday 23rd May 😀

Thanks to the amazing support of everyone who attended, the event raised over £1800.

A special thanks to Morecambe Bay Wills and Estates Limited for generously sponsoring the event; Harriet, owner of Main Course, for her donations of cakes, scones and help on the day; a team of wonderful volunteers; Malcolm and Anne from Laburnham Nurseries, providing plants for our plant sale; Susan Winsby for supporting the event through her craft stall; and of course, and a friendly zebra who kindly dropped in at lunchtime!

It was a fantastic day of fun and fundraising. The support of our community, vital to The Olive Branch's service, is deeply appreciated. 💚

Supermarket cafes, chain restaurants and food venues all around the UK are offering the ‘Kids Eat Free’ or Kids Eat for £1 deal during school holidays, and savvy parents are hunting them out to keep the cost of going out down.

Cut the cost of eating out with Free Children’s meals at participating Restaurants & Cafes. Helping parents and caregivers to save a few £££s throughout the school holidays.
