At the Balcombe village fete we ran a competition to guess the weight of the tenor bell in St Mary's belltower. Normally quoted in cwt, we wanted the answer in kg
We had about 90 guesses covering a large range of weights.
The correct answer was 462Kg and the winner, who already has their bottle of sparkling w**e, was only 2kg out.

This Sunday's Family Service will be a Forest Church Service in the beauty of our Churchyard. If you are able to bring a chair to sit on it would be very helpful.😊
