We are a community outreach programme offering various services 7 days a week including a community cafe, support and wellbeing groups, youth work and most fundamental at the moment the community larder which was initially set up to help prevent food waste but has become more and more an opportunity to save a few pounds on daily essentials for anyone that needs it, it's not means tested, there are
no questions asked and we are there everyday. Citizens advice operate a drop in on Tuesdays. And Clarion futures, set up to help with jobs and multiple free accredited training opportunities are based with us on Thursdays. for other activities, please keep an eye on this page for regular updates. We are always on the look out for new volunteers, whether that's to help practically with maintenance or up keep, fundraising ideas, various outreach opportunities or to join our rota of drivers who do a more then essential job of driving to collect food surplus from our various collection points which help stock the larder. Donations are always grateful and dare we say desperately needed, and whilst yes, financial is great and keeps us ticking over, enabling us to carry on and enhance our existing services, it's the larder at the moment that for many is becoming more and more of a valuable and essential service so tins, store cupboard essentials, sanitary products or even a gift, for a child, parent or carer that may end up celebrating a birthday with us or just need a little pick me up. Nothing goes to waste and everything is appreciated. if you would like to know more, please drop us a message, send us an e mail, or even better make yourself known and come see us, we do bloody good coffee and even better chat!
