We’re committed to supporting the next generation of civil engineers. No one’s potential should be limited by circumstances beyond their control, and financial pressure should never be a barrier to success.

That’s why we offer financial grants to students who are facing difficulty, helping them stay on track and continue their studies with confidence.

So, what are the key details?

- Student members of the ICE may be able to apply for help from their second year onwards

- If you have a recognised or diagnosed disability, we may be able to provide financial assistance

- Each case is considered on its own merits. "Disadvantaged" may include those with dependants, especially lone parents, those estranged from their parents or those who have lost their initial source of funding

- Your tuition fees must already be covered to qualify for the scheme

- Applications can be made at any time during the academic year

Life can feel overwhelming.

And the tricky part? Sometimes you don’t even notice it happening. You get so used to carrying the weight that you don’t realise it’s become too heavy for one pair of shoulders.

No ICE member should ever feel they have to face challenges alone.

Civil Engineers shape the world around us, and that includes shaping a healthier, more supportive community for each other.

If you ever need someone to talk to, we’re here.

Really here.

We offer a range of counselling options, because everyone’s needs are different, and your wellbeing deserves support that’s as individual as you are.

Reaching out isn’t a sign of weakness. It’s a step toward feeling stronger.

And whenever you’re ready, we’ll be right beside you.
