Parents and Friends of Catcote Academy We are a registered charity raising funds to enrich the lives of young people with additional needs Sowerby, A Pounder, J. Crosby, S. Hayes, R.

We are a Registered Charity which gives us greater opportunity to extend our fund-raising within the community. The committee is made up of parents, staff and friends of the school. Once a student joins the school their parent/carer automatically becomes a member of the PTA and are welcome to attend meetings, giving their support and ideas. Parents and Friends work closely with the school and help

to provide the very necessary extras that are needed, but not financed by the local authority e.g. trips, computer equipment, play and social equipment, science and technology ‘extras’. We are always looking for new ideas for fund-raising events so please get in touch if you feel there’s something we should try. Member Roles:

Students and staff from Catcote Academy have been working incredibly hard this year to bring you their production of the Broadway classic "Little Shop of Horrors".
Join us on 16th and 17th June 2026 at The Northern School Of Art, Hartlepool for what promises to be a fantastic evening of entertainment.
Tickets available from Catcote reception at £7.50 and £5.00 for concessions.
Doors open at 6:00pm, with the show starting at 6:30pm.
Come along, sing along to the unforgettable songs, and enjoy a spectacular performance from our talented cast and crew. It's guaranteed to be an amazing night!

EVENT UPDATE😁

Please come along and join us for a fantastic evening at the Catcote Parents and Friends Race Night! 1st May 2026

Time- 18:30pm

This exciting event is all about bringing our community together while raising vital funds to give our learners the very best experiences throughout their education. Every ticket sold helps create more opportunities, enrich activities, and support their journey in meaningful ways.

The event will be held at Hartlepool Rovers Rugby Club, and tickets are just £5 per person — including free pie and peas, so you can enjoy great food while cheering on the races!

It promises to be a fun, friendly night full of laughter, excitement, and community spirit. Whether you’re coming to win, socialise, or simply support a great cause, there’s something for everyone.

We truly hope to see you there!
