🎉 A Halloween Party… But Make It 1980s! 🎶

This Halloween, forget the spooky stuff - we’re turning One77 into a full‑blown 80s & 90s pop explosion in support of Families First North East, helping children and young people with disabilities across our community.

We’re absolutely delighted to welcome the phenomenal, high‑energy band Smash Hits Party Band: 80s vs 90s to Hartlepool. These legends of live entertainment will blast out the biggest throwback anthems, guarantee wall‑to‑wall dancing, and bring the kind of electric atmosphere you’ll be talking about for weeks.

Join us at One77, 177 York Road, Hartlepool, from 7.30pm on 31 October 2026 for a night of neon nostalgia, feel‑good vibes, and pure pop magic.

🎟 Tickets: £10

May is here, the sun might be out, the pollen is definitely trying to kill us, and it’s time for another night of glorious, disco‑powered nonsense.

Good Afternoon Everyone

It is with great pleasure that we announce March’s STAR OF THE MONTH.... (Better late, than never !)

Bethany Robinson

Bethany is a Residential Support Worker within Melbourne and has received 7 separate nominations over the past 12 months.

Her most recent nomination summed up how amazing his is and an integral part of :

“I would like to nominate Bethany because she is exceptional at supporting children with special needs. Bethany can be a quiet person but when she is around the children she is very different.

She understands the children's needs and wants. She is very patient and very caring towards the children. She can see children's triggers or when they start to show the are upset and is able to help the child to overcome these issues.

She interacts with all the children and gives them all time even if she has a one to one. She plays and has fun with them and the children seem to really like her.

I think she is very very good with the children. “

Well done Bethany and thank you for everything you do for our children and young adults.

Closing deadline for nominations for May 2026 is 29 May 2026 at 12noon and can made via https://forms.office.com/e/iMpijbHdmY

Good Morning Everyone

It is with great pleasure that we announce February's STAR OF THE MONTH....

Nicola Thompson

Nicola is our Section Head for Children and Young People and has received 4 separate nominations over the past 12 months.

Her most recent nomination summed up how amazing his is and an integral part of :

“Not everyone sees the sheer amount of work Nicola puts in, day in and day out, to make sure afterschool club and playscheme run smoothly. She’s often starting early, working through lunch, staying late, covering shifts herself, and stepping straight into whatever challenge the day decides to throw at her or her team.

And through all of that, she still turns up every single day with positivity, determination, and a genuine commitment to giving children and families the best experience possible. It sometimes might feel that others don't care, recognise or are even aware of just how much she carries - the pressure, the problem solving, the constant juggling, but it never stops her from giving her all.

That’s exactly why I believe Nicola deserves to be recognised. Her dedication isn’t just impressive; it’s the backbone of the service.”

Well done Nicola and thank you for everything you do for our children.

Closing deadline for nominations for March 2026 is 31 March 2026 at 5.00pm and can made via https://forms.office.com/e/iMpijbHdmY
