As we at Citizens Advice are working in partnership with MacMillan Cancer Support (MacMillan, money and more service). We are holding a Macmillan charity morning on Wednesday 30th September 2026 from 9:30am onwards.

We will have a host of things including:

As part of our Research and Campaign into child poverty we have compiled a survey to help us identify the barriers clients are facing in respect of benefits they may be entitled to but are not claiming.

If you could take a few minutes to complete the survey it would be appreciated and could assist us implement changes in the future.

This is a survey that is being conducted by local Citizens Advice offices in the North East. Your local office is an independent charity and the information that you share will be kept private and confidential. You have the right to withdraw your responses at any time. Thank you for taking part.

To help people through the current cost of living crisis Citizens Advice Hartlepool are expanding our Adviceline service coverage so that more people are able to access our service via telephone.

Our Adviceline will be ‘manned’ at the following times:

Monday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Tuesday: 4:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Wednesday: 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Thursday: 9:00 am - 7:00 pm

Friday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Happy New Year🎊

We are looking for some new volunteers to help in our busy office. If you would like to support those within your community this could be the perfect role for you.

We are recruiting volunteers to support with our gateway service. This is the first point of contact for most of our clients. We ask that you commit to 6 - 8 hours per week.

This is a great opportunity if you are retired, or if you are hoping to develop your skills. Previous experience in this type of role is not necessary as full training will be given.

Citizens Advice Hartlepool is looking for volunteers to help us deliver our service giving information and advice to clients. We are looking for volunteers to support with our gateway service, so you will be the first point of contact for our clients. No prior experience is necessary as full training and support will be provided throughout.

This is a great opportunity for those who are retired or anyone hoping to develop their skills who have 6-8 hours a week to spare and are interested in helping the Citizens Advice Hartlepool service.
