At the weekend some of our Trustees attended a social at Drayton Reservoir where they made some new friends. Oscar and his Dad Rob were fishing the reservoir to celebrate Oscars Birthday. It's safe to say they had a session to remember banking multiple fish up to 20lb+! One hell of an angler for a young lad! Well done Oscar!

More donations!

We've worked hard over the summer holidays to deliver fishing equipment to youngsters who are keen to get into the sport. It's great to see happy smiling faces, ready to get onto the bank and begin their angling journey!

Two more youngsters have received fishing equipment to help get them started on their angling journey. These young people are the next generation of angling!

Great day at Carrs Lakes with the Community Links lot. We had plenty of fish on the bank, learned lots of new skills and had a cracking time!

This weekend we managed to get out and deliver some equipment to some youngsters eager to get amongst some fishing. We're working tirelessly behind the scenes to build something big and, hopefully very soon, all will come into view! Thank you to everyone who has supported us with donations and by buying our merch so far. This is the impact you're all having!

Happy Monday and tight lines everyone!

PASSING IT ON!

We've just dropped off a donation to a young lad who's fishing gear had been stolen from his shed. We've managed to get him a full set up, meaning he can now get back out on the bank! He said he's really looking forward to getting out and he'll be sure to send us some catch reports.

This is the outcome of all of your donations and support; buying sticker packs and t-shirts. Let's keep the good vibes going and get more people on the bank!

Ambassador announcement!

It is our pleasure to introduce our first ever ambassador for Tackling Futures, Jess Walshaw.

Jess has been with us from the very beginning as a service user and watching her progress and grow has been an absolute privilege. She has a passion for angling and wants to share that passion with others, taking colleagues and residents from her place of work for time on the bank. Jess, welcome to the team and keep up the fantastic work!
